override of the singing animation with microphone

I really wanted to play with singers and at the same time I really didn’t want to see funny singing animations.

so, I replaced all the animations of singing with a microphone with calmer ones. I'm not good at animation, so I settled on these simple ones.

when a sim's singing skill increases, the animations on jazz and drama songs will become a little more complex and "accent" animations will also appear. you can see them if you watch the video in the title.

problem: during the animation, the sim sometimes just suddenly stands up. this happens not only with override, but also without it (I tested this without mods at all). maybe override increases the number of freezes, I can’t say for sure. I understand how such things can be confusing, so I warn you.

reading animation override 2.0

download on patreon (early access) (public release - 09/05/24) I managed to make reading animation override 2.0, with different poses for different genders and places!

also, all the bugs from previous overrides have been fixed, no one will fall into a bar stool anymore and sims will be able to read on a rocking chair with normal animation, etc.

Functional Stanley Cup by LargeTayterTots

This default replacement overrides the water bottle in the Growing Together expansion. Now your sims can drink from a Stanley Cup while they are on their stroll in San Sequoia.

This works with the park in Ciudad Enamorada too!

These stairs were a request by the lovely @loasaceae! I made also a matching wallpaper to go along the stairs as none of the game's tiles matched, but they're not 100% seamless because of the specular maps and such and for the love of me I couldn't get the colors to match each other perfectly. -But there was an attempt!

Pool Jumping Ladder

I really dislike the existing diving boards, the generic one is all sorts of fugly, and the clay/stone ones aren’t that bad, but very situational. And they’re all incredibly clunky. So, I give you a regular basic jumping ladder. Meshed out of the basegame pool ladder, so they look nice together, and share the same exact swatches.

Comes in 8 colours. Requires Get Together. Custom thumbnail. I make all my CC with S4S.
