.: [ 🐙 ] :. The curly hair above this man’s lips made him look something like a catfish, but no matter the species, if they wore that uniform, that automatically made him an enemy in Octavio’s eyes.

“What? No! It’s not like that!” Spike discarded his hilarious disguise, he wasn’t shady! He didn’t need to look the part at all! What would Twilight say? Spike bit on his thumb claw. She’d be so disappointed in him! She’d kick him out!

❝‘Course I wouldn’t mind,❞ he says cheekily, choosing to ignore the insinuation that he isn’t being genuine. If they keep arguing, things will go nowhere, to the point that some legitimately awful individual may pick them both off. Okay, he’s being a little paranoid, but that kind of thinking saves lives! ❝Can’t let people take advantage of others.❞

He took an arrow from his quiver and notched it into his bow. He took quick aim at the man’s chest and, as always, hit his target. The man grabbed at the suction cupped arrow stuck to him. Though he seemed to be in pain, Eros knew it must have been the pang of love running into him.

The woman let out a scream and turned to run. How many mortals tried to run from their hearts he would never know but she would not escape. Eros costumed Kyoko grudges poured from him and tied her up, preventing her getaway. He took aim and again hit his mark. Another happy ending.

Groaning inwardly at the arrival of a soon to be very unlucky couple, Oleander takes a few steps back, under the pretense of giving ‘Eros’ space. He's worried about what may happen in the immediate future, though he's briefly seen the effects of the other's work. Nothing screamed of danger, but nonetheless, he stands, ready and attentive.

The humans affected by the ‘power of love’ look a little pained, and definitely bewildered. It isn't until a plethora of ghost-like figures intervene that he nearly breaks his cover of nonchalance. Stay cool, stay cool…

        The zebra was one for exploring, having traversed much of the dangerous forest back home. It wasn’t much different from there, so she felt at ease for the most part in District MU. Though, she hadn’t seen many others wandering around so coming upon a human surprised her and she approached him.

      GLaDOS watched what appeared to be a human building what also appeared to be a tank. Artificial synapses clicked together, thinking of the immediate ways she could use this contraption, and human, to the best of her abilities. Wouldn’t that be just fun to use in a test? 

      ＬＯＡＴＨＩＮＧ you 

Before he could even realize, Hozuki’s daily routine in Hive City became very busy. Not as busy as Hell used to be, but still ungodly in comparison with the average resident. His free time was scarce, but he would rather live like this than spend idle days and nights until return home eventually. Honestly, at this point oh his life he didn’t know how to live any other way in any place.

But even a workaholic demon has personal needs, and he was feeling bad for a while due the scattered attention towards Kuro, the Shiba puppy that literally fell in his arms long ago and now was pratically an adult dog.

And with the parlour running well after the first adjusting weeks and the city in peace for a considerably long period, was a perfect moment to have a quality time with the faithful pet in one of the Sector 6 parks. 

Many people would do the same, and that was how he caught a glimpse of other pet owner taking care of his own fluffy ball, a rabbit so cute that Hozuki couldn’t just watch from afar.

Finally in position for a relaxing day, the coach takes his pet with him to the park. With his little rabbit comfortably nestled in his arms, Oleander risks possible embarrassment. He is long past risking something for the sake of his furry friends, instead deciding firmly to put them first.

This is exactly why he's here. The park is nice and comfortable, and somehow cleaner than the rest of the city. Somehow a scene of purity, Oleander supposes it must be the appeal of cleanliness that leads others to torch this sector. Ha, as if burning down an entire sixth of the city is easy.

Thoughts are interrupted as a gentle nip from Snowball brings him to attention. Eyes snap open, not in any aggrieved motion, but warily. A curious, demonic appearing individual with a pet of his own has also decided to make the park his roost.

— [ ✪ ] — Well, that didn’t end too badly. Sure, he’s more than a little bloody, but he survived. Much better off than the other guy, in any case. Sure, the encounter wasn’t as smooth as he’d like, but in the end, it’s better than any alternative he’s had in mind.

He’s starting to patch up his wound ( hardly back on his feet after the conflict, really ), when a familiar, though not particularly welcome figure enters his line of sight. The pony isn’t a terrible individual; she’s much preferred to the fellow who thought it wise to shank Oleander, anyway. She has a big mouth, but honestly, as a friendship princess, how much damage could she honestly do?

❝Hello, Twilight.❞ Tiredly he snaps at her. Of course she can’t resist another verbal jab at him, even when his life has been threatened. ❝I’m alive, because I’m damn good at what I do. You should have seen the other guy.❞

      “Nice to see you too.” She bit back, trying her hardest to stop. “I don’t…think that’s something to be proud of, if I’m being honest. I’m glad you’re alive but you shouldn’t be boasting. I’ve learnt that that generally ends badly for everypony involved.”

He hates how she intends to teach him, as if she knows everything. She is no hypocrite about boasting, yet, she constantly digs under his skin, as if she's superior to him. ❝I don't need to learn anythin’,❞ he mutters, pulling back his sleeve to reveal his unfortunate wound. Even now he intends to be rebellious in the face of the purple pony.

His telekinesis keeps the pet at bay. The gentle, glowing orange palm, releases the owl, yet remains held for a few moments longer. Perhaps as a warning, it is held in a universal ‘stop’ gesture. A few seconds pass before the hand fizzles into nothing.

❝Likes me? Now that can’t be it. Probably smells something edible on me.❞ Blustering on and on, the pony keeps talking and the coach keeps tuning her out. Instead of just leaving him alone, she seems intent on what? Teaching him a lesson? She’s the one that bothered him. No need to let her get in the way of his shopping excursion.

❝Magic? Ha! That ain’t magic.❞ Yeah, as a flying unicorn, she’d know about magic. Nothing like what he can do. ❝That was achieved with the power of my mind. Nothing magic about it.❞

Though his arms be laden with bags, Oleander raises a forefinger to tap against his skull – right where that little door of his would go. His pride in himself manages to eclipse his annoyance towards the little horse. If there is anything the diminutive man holds about himself in high regard, it is his skill in psionics.

      Eyes narrowed about his comments on magic, like magic wasn’t powerful or was something to laugh about. Maybe if he’d seen what she could do, or any number of the other princesses for that matter, he wouldn’t take it so lightly.

      “Oh, well, that’s easy! That’s just like what I do with my magic. Actually, that’s probably just about the lowest spell any unicorn could do. You don’t even need a cutie mark dealing in magic to do that. The hand is new, though.” 

Thus, he forgets common sense for a moment. The hand rematerializes, digging into the ground and producing a sizable chunk of asphalt. About the size of an average chair, it is still admittedly more than a little impressive that earth separates from earth with such ease. And it is with precision that the clump returns to its rightful position as if nothing at all has changed.

❝I could have tossed that thing about like it was a mere baseball, but I wouldn't want you to drop my bags in surprise,❞ he smirks. ❝Besides, believe it or not, but I ain't soulless enough to cause needless property damage.❞
