I hook my fingers around his collar like an anchor drooling over my hands and breathing inside my veins his eyes are tortured, but never satiated. he tries to hide his whines in his throat, yet scraps of our high force them out. and when tears drowning in lust weep down his chin, and when pleads echo off the walls of his mouth, he always gives in

I could stare at your back all day and trace the patterns each muscle makes drifting across your shoulders engraving my heart into yours drifting across your spine illuminating the room like an angel drifting across your waist hoping to share some of your radiance my body could rest against yours as you immerse yourself in me, through the patterns i’ve made with the light you gave, our intricate incandescence. and we’ll sit in the sky together, now the brightest star of them all

for years, i’ve wandered endlessly.

my legs surrender to the dirt,

but their soil rejects my roots.

this landscape has no place for me.

something pulls me in your tide.

a sensation so divine,

as we sink into each other,

and feel our terrains combine.

whenever you depart,

I don’t search for land,

i have no need to roam.

I swim in our waves,

write love letters in our sand,

another tumblr rant from me, yay!

i consider myself a spiritual person, but I've always detested religion for a multitude of reasons, the main one being "sins", or what society has turned the concept of sins into. I hate how things like greed, anger, lust, feelings that are wired into our psyche since the day we were born, are perceived as something evil, something we should never act on, or something that leads us to hell or whatever alternative evil dimension they've curated. the way I see it, an emotion is only "evil", or moreso negative, if you allow it to be. if you take your anger out on yourself or others by screaming their heads off, punching holes into their walls, and beating them black and blue, then yes, that's terrible. but if you take your anger out in your paintings, your journals, through martial arts, or hard, passionate fucking, how can that be a negative emotion when it becomes nothing but fun that enhances your gratitude for the simple pleasures of life? or deep reflection that helps you grow into a better person? churches and religious folk teach you to hide the parts of you that make up a sinner, to hold your anger inside you until it bursts out in a fit of rage, to feel guilty everytime you crave the touch of another, and to harbor your envy until you're nothing but a ball of insecurities. but we can build all of these feelings into so much more. i feel like you truly begin to love yourself and everything life has to offer once you realize what you can create with everything that you feel, how there's a good side of every emotion we experience if we're able to find it.
