Enjoy the nostalgia of homemade sugar cones made right on your stovetop. These crispy cones are perfect for holding your favorite ice cream flavors.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 2 large egg whites. 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/4 cup milk. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Put flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl and mix them together. Use a whisk to mix the egg whites, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a different bowl. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ones while stirring them together until everything is smooth. Set a skillet that doesn't stick on medium heat. Put about two tablespoons of batter on the pan and spread it out into a circle. Just wait a minute or two until the edges begin to turn brown, then carefully flip it over and cook for another minute or two until it's just barely golden. Quickly take the cone out of the pan and shape it around a cone-shaped mold or use a kitchen towel to roll it into a cone shape. Shape the cones while they are still warm and soft with the rest of the batter. Let the cones cool all the way down before putting ice cream in them.
