I really like that Koji didn’t just forget his stepmom when he learned his real mom was alive.  He kept his promise to be nice to her and that’s awesome.

I feel like what Ophanimon meant by ‘find the spirit’ was find Kouichi. It would make sense, seeing as Kouichi was a spirit for the most part in Digimon Frontier. It could be Ophanimon’s way of telling Kouji that his destiny was to find his brother.
