What's a fun fact about yourself that you'd like to share?: i'm a neuroscientist! my area of expertise is neurodegenerative diseases like dementia.

What inspires you? i have a ton of authors i draw inspiration from- leah hampton's fuckface, jamie quatro's two-step devil, and julia franks' over the plain houses are my favorite books. i've read all of them multiple times lol. in terms of fanfic my favorite author is @lolthwoven (also part of RHoBG!). i just finished catching up on her ongoing story outsider's welcome and it is extremely good so far. How long have you been writing fanfiction? i just started in november 2025, so i'm still pretty new to it. i have more experience with poetry and academic writing but those are definitely different skillsets than fiction, so i'm still finding my footing. How do you best battle writer's block? driving. i've got a long commute, so turning off the music/podcast/whatever and just kinda sitting there thinking while i drive often helps me come up with new ideas. i'm also an artist and sometimes drawing my characters makes me motivated to write about them too. What themes do you find yourself repeatedly exploring in your work? most of my writing interacts with some elements of interpersonal abuse and dealing with the psychological fallout of it. i've only written bg3 fic so far, and this was a pretty major theme in the game itself that always stood out to me, so that carries through into my writing too. What's a snippet from your work (published or not) that you're the most proud of? this is from my published oneshot freedom, from my main tav's (shockingly enough, they are named freedom) modern/human au!

‘op is woke and also right, but some are really committed to the modest vibe because it’s unfortunately necessary for them to be treated seriously in the workplace. also if my friends didn’t want people to talk about them like bad holofilm characters then they shouldn’t act like bad holofilm characters so it’s fine. please tell um, ‘notadroid’ and ‘mrsnailracing’ that they just made my whole YEAR. also you can tell everyone that official jedi doctrine teaches that all sluts should be treated with respect and dignity, jedi or not.’
