Hey y’all! I’m still pretty new to tumblr but I’ve got asks open if people would like to ask me questions abt my comic or request any art!

Just some info on art requests:

I am willing to draw TADC and abstractedcaineAU and ringmasterragathaAU art requests. Really I'm willing to draw mostly anything TADC related so if you're unsure of whether you should send an ask, just send the ask anyway and I'll let you know! ^^

Right now, I will NOT be taking requests for OC art/commissions etc.

Also, I’m also a pretty slow and busy artist, so turnaround for these kinda things might take me a while, but I will try my best!!

ahhh wips upon wips... GUYS there are so many crowd shots of the main cast in this next part so it's taking forever to draw LOL. I lined 5 pages in like 5 hours BUT I was highkey in a flow state; never drawn this easily before!!! I'm tryna get this next part out on Friday so stay tuned I spose 🙂‍↕️

GUYS this is gonna sound crazy but the recent merch ad showing Caine having a nightmare made me think of the book "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?" which IN TURN made me think of Blade Runner AND THEN I had to draw Caine expressing his desire to be remembered like Roy Batty 🤷‍♀️

soo uhhh yeahhh convoluted origin of this animatic aside... i also just wanted to try "animating" caine and pomni again since I like torturing myself LOL. Idk it was kinda rushed and also looks jank but im happy with it

something silly ive been doodling on the side as i work on other comic things. Pretty sure people have made this comparison before, but the thought of Wizard of Oz TADC got stuck in my head and I had to draw it!

I like to imagine this as those episodes that appear in anime where the character has a dream and is taken to a fantasy realm! Had lots of fun with this haha so I hope u all like it 🥹

Hi!! TY for the ask and for the support for the comic!

I use Clip Studio Paint to make my comic, it has a lot of really great comic paneling and speech bubble features that make my workflow very smooth. CSP is a paid program however, so if you're looking for something free I would recommend Krita! It's comic and text bubble features are a bit more complicated than CSP, but really any drawing program can be used to make a comic, it just depends on how much work you're willing to do! In other words, as long as you have a program that can make boxes for frames you can probably draw everything else that you need to!

ALSO your drawing of Caine is soooo cuuute!! ^^ TY for the ask, again! Hope you can make the comic of your dreams!! And if you have any more questions about making comics, feel free to message me, I'll be happy to give some tips!

y'allll i'm crying about my own dang comic 😭😭😭 i'm lowkey sorry for the pain im gonna inflict with this next part (BUT angst is angst and we must share it with the world !!!)

As an FYI, I will be keeping off tumblr after the movie releases since I'm waiting for the YouTube release of the final episode! Gotta avoid spoilers as best I can LOL. I may post some silly doobles & answer some asks in my inbox, but the next comic update will likely be after the YouTube release just cuz I know others might be avoiding tumblr!

In the Ringmaster Ragatha AU version of ep 6, Caine and Kinger end up in the losers corner...

LOL this was so goofy to draw. I feel like in this AU, since Caine has been swapped with Ragatha his past as a human is really intriguing! I think maybe in the past he was abandoned/locked in a room for long periods of time by his actual father (paralleling Caine's AI backstory, and human Ragatha's abusive mother), and rather than produce a fear of abandonment, Caine instead thinks that everyone around him could betray him at any moment, so he doesn't trust that other people are being genuine with him. This contributes to him just not "getting" other people. And when Kinger keeps acting like a father-figure to him, it irritates him because it reminds him of the past. I also think his character model still kinda fits with TADC lore 🤔 he's dressed as a ringmaster--someone who should have control over the circus--but he's small and almost powerless in his situation.

Also I think the adventure for this ep was probably the same: they all get guns. But rather than Ragatha not caring and just letting the cast do whatever, she was simply trying to give the cast some more excitement than her other adventures, so she made a dramatic choice to let them have guns because violence is mature and danger is exciting 🙂‍↕️

Here's Ringmaster Ragatha:

I like the idea of her having a big bow for coattails hehe ^^. She's a bit more confident than how she is in the show, but like Caine, she is very people pleaser-y and fears that she's not enough for the people she's entertaining. I think she would struggle from her adventures not being exciting enough for the rest of the cast. I also think, unlike Caine, everyone likes her because she's placatingly nice. But perhaps in her Circus, the cast would slowly begin to ignore her because they don't feel like she's being genuine/having any real human connections with them--something she would be deeply afraid of.

I feel like "Rabbit" (aka Jax) as her bubble just makes sense (and this implies bubble would enter the circus in place of jax later 🤔 and would be just as much of a little shit) !! Instead of popping bubble, Ragatha just pushes Rabbit back into her hat. Her concept is meant to be kind of ringmaster--kind of magician- so the rabbit in a hat thing I think fits well hehe

Here's ALSO the swap in of Caine for Ragatha in this world haha. All the developers would still abstract (sorry Kinger) and the next human to enter the Circus would be "Ragdoll Caine" -> literally just his plushie form haha. Instead of getting a daughter, Kinger gets a son and we get prolly crazy father son arguments between the two of them somethin like "you're not my real dad stop acting like it" "I just worry about you sometimes" yatta yatta 🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

One of the things I find the most appealing about TADC is that I appreciate almost all the ships in the fandom, I MUST push the multishipper agenda
