HEAR ME OUT Arkco AU where Coco is an unconventional princess and Agott, her bodyguard.

A fic where Coco falls first but Agott. Oh, Agott... SHE FALLS HARDER. Deep into the pit of obsession. Because she may not look like one, but Agott is a YEARNER to the core.

So, to sum things up :

- Coco. Tangled-type of princess in love with magical stuff, arts and books of science.

- Agott. Lucid, workaholic and pragmatic knight. Cold as ice but has the softest heart. Would do ANYTHING to protect her loved ones. Loves astronomy and animals. Sings marvelously.

- They crossed paths once when they were kids but because of their social status, never got a chance to meet again until they were both 18 (Agott became a royal knight)

- not necessarily relevant but Agott HAS TO BE JACKED (years of training hehehe) and Coco should have long greenish hair, invisible freckles, stars in her eyes, everything...!! She has to look like a fairy in Agott's eyes!

- this au simply cannot exist without THE SCENE : Coco brushing her lips over Agott's scars and whispering how much they're beautiful! How cute then can be.

Shirahama seriously has the opportunity to make one of the best gay and lesbian representations.

We already have Galga and Atwert, and I think they're pretty interesting despite how little we know of them, but imagine representation from the MAIN cast. That's a huge deal. How many homosexual characters do we currently have in media that are part of the main cast? Very few. Or maybe I just live under a rock.

Confirming Orufrey and Arkco would make a lot of sense story-wise while also defeating the idea that homosexuals are some special anomaly. It would be natural. Casual. Homosexuals? Yeah, they exist. That's it. Simple as that.

From the start, most people already assume that Qifrey and Olruggio have something going on. I'm not saying that they have to make out, but having them hold hands while watching the sun go down or something would be the most natural thing ever for them. Any kind of confirmation that they're closer than two regular best friends wouldn't feel forced.

And Arkco, oh don't even get me started on Arkco! Unlike Orufrey, I'm not too sure whether they'll be canon because of Tartah and Loroga. I have to pay more attention to the relationships during my reread. Anyway, Arkco has so much potential. I've read many lesbian love stories, and not a single one can compare to what Coco and Agott have. Their chemistry is something I've genuinely never seen before in fiction. And they aren't even confirmed to be in love with each other.

In short, I strongly believe that Arkco and Orufrey being canon wouldn't really be fan service. But just a normal part of the story. It would normalise homosexuality. We really need more of that.
