For the handful of people who watch From, after seeing the way the Man in Yellow talked to Jim ("I've always liked you, you always tried so hard", etc.) it seems like he has posed as other people in town before. He clearly likes to get a front row seat to the misery he causes and he might like to purposely press on sore spots to ingratiate himself, like getting Kenny attached to Sophia with her grief over losing a parent plus the trailer for the next episode has her riling Julie up. Are there past characters who made a habit of this? Tilly is an obvious possibility. I feel like she'd been written off as a red herring after nothing came of her behaviour, but maybe not! She was planting ideas in Elgin's head and questioning Fatima about her pregnancy. Are there other characters who could fit this? I really need to rewatch cause I'm forgetting so many details.
someone suggested that the girl (i forgot her name) who came on the bus and ended up with a pole in her head stuck to a tree could also be MiY at another point
although i love the 47 book theory and there having to be 47 alive people in fromville, i don’t know whether it includes MiY disguised with the headcount or not
the whole thing with the girl dying unshredded does support it to be MiY [ruining whatever hope they have left][MiY is shown eating the insides of corpses/ monsters only shown the killing people part]> remember the only time someone was left by the monsters alive was Boyd [which supports the 47 theory]
guys does anyone agree how weird Jim-ghost was when he was talking to ethan?
i mean, when boyd and jade saw father kathari and bartender-tom, they viewed them as part of their conscious. and there was always this pull and push tension when they faced a dilemma
but this post-dead-Jim has two new things going on
1- he hugged ethan, im pretty sure it was the only time 'dead person' hugged someone living. i dont even think that any of the others so much as touched their hallucinations.
not even the time when boyd saw abby in the chamber
2- the way Jim kept looking back at the trees, which most of us picked up
ive seen theories saying that Jim could be a story walker, but i cant see how that would work since we've seen his body
Also the lake of tears has me clawing at the walls. What if the dolls being thrown in the water is what made them become the nightmares or the feeling behind it when they got thrown in? What if the lake of tears does heal/change people. The “monsters” made a deal to live forever right?
I wonder if consuming the water is what makes the people the monsters and the sacrifice was to create the place??????
