okayyyy .. i have somehow never drawn yusuke digitally before .. that being said i haven’t drawn an awful lot in general for the last few months but after finishing strikers my adoration for yusuke has become reignited soooo here >w<

i don’t hate this. i am going to stop looking at this now so i don’t start to hate this

i used the painting in madarame’s palace as the colour palette for twosuke .. the idea was meant to be that yusuke was somewhat protective ,, + also the only one kind of out of the frame

i luv him so much … there are a lot of criticisms with his introduction and i agree with a lot of them but also he became my favourite near immediately and stayed that way through the entire game. you’re immediately introduced to both his eccentricness and his isolation. having him initially push back so vehemently at the beginning is also fascinating ,, it isn’t that he’s unaware that what’s happening is wrong (i mean he literally refers to himself as his ‘sensei’s artwork’ you can’t be entirely oblivious and say that) but more so that he’s been conditioned into believing it’s acceptable, and is terrified of any of his life being threatened despite how horrible it is :( sighhhh ,, makes me sad ,, not to mention every other student left one by one, leading to him having to suffer the brunt of the abuse ,, and having madarame as the only consistent person in his life :(( so, as yusuke would believe, madarame was the only person who loved him enough to stay :((
