hmmm... baby nat with cg lottie.... hmmmm...

Caregiver Lottie loves to play with baby Nat! Although Nat is often too young to play actual pretend games, Lottie will sit for hours and play peek-a-boo and sing silly songs until Nats a puddle of giggles.

Lottie is big on healthy foods and makes all sort of cool faces and animals out of foods that make both Nat's tummy happy (fruit/traditional healthy foods) and her mind happy (sweets and other yummy treats)!

Nat is usually pretty nonverbal when she drops so young and Lottie prides herself on being able to tell most of Nat's wants by her cues and cries.

Eeeee! Baby Nat!!!! She's such a cherished sight to the few that she lets see her so young!

Baby Nat is a rare sight indeed, usually only coming out when she's very stressed or upset, and usually only around certain people. Lottie, preferably, but also Tai occasionally. If Nat needs stimulation in babyspace she'll also squeal for Jackie, who is such a good big sister!

Baby Nat is definitely a padded regressor, but hardly anyone knows that. She's afraid someone will tease her (though no one would).

Loves sensory activities! Give that girl some frozen peas in a zip-lock bag of water and she's happy for hours.

Such a starer. A cg will be talking to Nat as they do something, and Nat will be sat just staring at them with her big eyes.

She's not much of a crier. She gets upset easily in this headspace, but she's more of a panter when she's upset - if she cries then you know it's bad.

Baby Nat also loves nursery ryhmes! Especially ones that come will little actions she tries to copy (though she never has the control to master it). Someone will sing itsy-bitsy-spider to her while doing the hand motions, and Nat will smoosh her palms together and expect lots of claps and coos!

- uses kids products to help motivate showers, brushing teeth and brushing hair

- cocoons themself in plushies and blankets, staying in bed all day and barely sleeping at night

- uses kids dishes and nastolgic meals when struggling with low appetite

- uses a sticker chart and reward system to try and feel excited and productive about chores

- cling to fictional cgs from comfort shows

- use diaps when they are too tired to get up to potty

- whine for a cg they don't have

- struggle to remember to eat, shower, change clothes, brush their hair or teeth or take medicine

- struggle to get excited about their interests

- lack the energy and/or time to regress

- struggle with nightmares and use their stuffies to comfort then

- only have the energy to be a completely dependent baby and nothing more

- who are both too scared to ask to be cared for, but also too uncomfortable to regress alone

- who feel a ton of shame, anxiety or guilt during and/or after regressing

- who can only age dream due to intrusive thoughts or anxiety

- who rely on regression completely for getting out of bed in the morning and falling asleep at night

been so depressed recently so I thought I'd share this. I truly could go on and on about how my regression is integral to my depression. I hope some of you can feel seen from this !
