Happy 2026! Developing Lover’s Enigma has been full of challenges, but your support has turned every obstacle into a victory. From our first stream to the Kickstarter milestone, you’ve made this journey possible, and this community feel like home.

At the end of February, we’ll launch our beta with new features to explore. This beta will be exclusive to Kickstarter backers, though late pledges are still available to join. Your feedback will help us polish the final release and we’re excited to share this news with you.

With May ending, here comes another dev post and a new update to the demo! We’re excited to release the new patch notes for Demo Update 1.0.5 with new languages and bug fixes.

Without further ado….

Localization: Added support for Spanish and Russian languages.

New Animation: A new animated scene has been added at the end of Day 4.

New Music added, courtesy of NeetCat! (Main menu, Ryota’s theme, Yoko’s theme)

New Easter Egg: A hidden surprise will appear if you name your character after one of the male leads…

Tweaked slot machine timing for smoother gameplay.

Fixed an issue where Miyabi would appear in front of Haruki and stare menacingly during his Day 4 scene.

Corrected various minor typos throughout the game.

Fixed a bug where Ryota’s gift on Day 4 wouldn’t appear as intended.

Resolved a crash issue that could occur after interacting with the window.

That's right, we have a Mac build of the game now! Mac users, rejoice ✧｡٩(ˊᗜˋ )و✧*｡ You can find it here.

As it is our first time adding localization in different languages, feel free to send any feedback either here or to our Discord server so that we can further improve on the game’s localization ( ꈍ◡ꈍ)

Hi everyone! With March being finally over and a little bit of April inching its way in, it's about time we posted a devlog! March has been an eventful month for us, with the release of our demo during Visual Novel Fest and reaching 200 members in our Discord, it's safe to say that we've been overwhelmed (positively!) with all that's happened! With Lover's Enigma being our first game, we had our own doubts about what constitutes as a 'good demo' but we cannot thank you enough for the overwhelmingly positive comments and advice regarding the demo! Thank you for the kind words and the support and we will continue to do our best to bring more updates to the existing demo and the full game!

Regarding updates, our next major update will be around May (which may collide with a certain Steam Fest we're participating in…) (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

If you've been following us on TikTok (and if you haven't, you TOTALLY SHOULD) you might have noticed a video that we released on a certain day for our... latest "update" to the game. (It's 100% completely real, really.)
