Arguably a 1950s housewife could be more of a strong female character than a Brooding Rebel Badass Assassin Girl if the former is written with care and thought into her perspective and plays an direct role in the progression of the story and the latter is written with the depth of a cardboard cutout and things just happen around her without any real input on her part.

Malik Rywater doesn't appear in the story alive at any point, only as something slain a century prior. He drips and weeps golden ichor and howls in the dead of night; bearing the weapon that felled him in his chest and the crown of rose briars shoved onto his head. Malik isn't the Hero of legend, but the descendant of him. To silence his blood line, the General that conquered his home had Malik killed in silence. The dead don't always stay quiet though, do they?

I redesigned Markell AGAIN But I really, really like this look. Especially his new arms. He needed fancier ones!! The golden pain in the ass of the 16 Reapers. Takes any contract where he can raid a village in the process. Spends of all his and Dovora's paycheck on shiny things.
