sorry to still be talking about minecraft youtuber dreamwastaken but as someone who knows people in the streaming industry talking about failures of safeguarding is so important to me. the ignorant and harmful way he treated unsafe environments for teenagers on his server is unfortunately common and I’ve seen that with my own two eyes. and I’ve also seen how much that fucks people up. i think he’s one of the best examples to give on that front, especially his actions towards tommyinnit and tubbo which were unacceptable regardless of intent and which he should have, y’know. not defended. again I know people who were in those positions and it’s genuinely so fucking awful for the kids. it’s a brand new industry where child stars can be exploited without regulation and it’s awful. and whenever you talk about it people think you should kill yourself for attacking their precious dweam (like somehow liking someone’s art means it’s okay for them to defend minors being sent pornography by adults) and are just a rabid tommy/tubbo apologist (like they have to be perfect people or else they deserve being in unsafe environments as sixteen year olds, when child stars are notorious for Not being perfect people because as it turns out exploitative environments do not make children and teens better people.)

Everyday i thank Philza Minecraft for being in that server and stopping at least half of that shit and safeguarding the kids

This is so sad but so beautiful. This is how I felt when my cat died, too (I assume we're meant to assume the cat in the picture is dead since the cat is not in the picture, it lived to at least 19, and all the cat toys have been removed). I saw her everywhere. I like the little details like the furniture disappearing and changing to show the passage of time. I didn't even notice the kitten photo on the wall till I read the tags. There's so much detail here. What a story. What love.
