to get the most of out ot3s you have to consider that they consist of smaller 2 person subdynamics where the third person is always in a weird and fucked up position of being a permanent voyeur to an interpersonal dynamic they are privy to but never a fully participant in. that whatever u have with them its not the same as what they have with each other, in a way thats equally intimate and alienating. yeah a throuple is fun when its a couple and their third but in an ideal world per 1 threesome you should be getting three somewhat volatile couples with their own dedicated third. and i think yoohankim #gets that.

Inspired by Somie's comic, though there's another idea I wanted to explore.

#sorry in advance im not very good at articulating my thoughts in words but #YOU GET IT SOO GOOD #the giant aroace flag behind Susie. because i agree #and kris too possibly #you brought up the fact the festival felt so oppressive in its amatonormativity #and the king and queen thing when theres plenty of nonbinary people in town #super interesting to me then that in the weird route susie says that the whole thing is kind of stupid and #“whatever we are” is better #and if you put susie down as king and queen #noelle and kris both seem really happy with that #idk. when the festival is clearly designed to always leave someone out #it seems the happiest they can all get is when they directly don't play by the rules #but anyway #society and the prophecy say you must follow the script. festival queen and king will walk down hand in hand #love will find its way to the girl #but love isnt such a neatly packaged thing #you hit it on the head with how susie probably believes in/plays by this exclusivity and expectation even though it's not exactly how she #would do it most naturally #idk #susies whole thing in the dark world being confused what love even is #blues breaktime with susie saying love has different shapes and all you can do is step forwards when its shaped like you #maybe im reading too far into it too but #i do think the way love was portrayed as such a narrow path but is not actually the case was fully intentional #and krusielle all got something very aroace thing going on #the japanese prophecy panel does phrase it more like #“the girl discovers the true meaning of love” iirc #so lets hope they figure it out #sorry for this very unthought out rambling too lol #thanks for the amazing and thoughtful work!#im very happy you were inspired by my comic too lol
