Language
Air is everywhere.
It is a tool to communicate.
And communication is movement.
Speech as another modality of movement.
You use muscles in your throat and in your mouth to make the sounds. To resonate the air in very specific ways.
So, this vibration of air is “just” another physical way of connecting with others.
We generate these micro-movements to reach others.
It just so happens that we give important meaning to these sounds. Organized them into a system, and call it a language (well, speech actually).
Do you want to take it a step further?
Visualizing these vibrations, drawing them up in different shapes (of course, using another form of bodily movements). Organizing them into a system, and call it writing.
Use some sort of sign language and now you are integrating your sight, too.
(What’s there? Eye movement, particles in the air, changes in light, etc… . Yes, seeing something is a physical way to connect with others, too.)
What I’m trying to get to is that verbal/written communication can be “just” another modality of movement. Or movement based communication.
But wait! Movement is communication!
Whether you move the air, or the air moves around you.
Anyway, there is plenty of stuff to explore, and make connections…
Think about communication as a connection. A connection between EVERYthing. And all communication as some sort of movement. Hence, there is movement EVERYwhere.
