It's hard to work out what to share without giving away too many spoilers for the other chapters though

Here's a little insight on what Virgil's thoughts are in the first chapter though:

So he's been through some shit. Got separated from his pod and then scooped up by humans while he was lost and injured, in order to be experimented on. He absolutely knows exactly what's going on, he knows what humans are and what they're trying to do to him even though he doesn't understand English, so he's just trying to resist them at every opportunity, which includes being pretty violent towards them.

Virgil has absolutely no idea what they're doing when they put him in the aquarium though, or what Romans deal is, since he's not trying to do anything to Virgil himself, not doing experiments or trying to poke and prod at him. As Virgil gets more used to him he gets fonder and fonder of the human, until one point (after he jumps on Roman when he gets back from the longer break) realising he definitely has a crush on him, which is incredibly embarrassing and silly since he's human, right? And they can't even understand each other! How could they possibly make that work??

Ok so I just finished playing Dispatch and I freaking LOVED it! Sooooo I thought it would be fun to combine my two current hyperfixations and make a Hermitcraft Dispatch AU!
