🍄 Origin 🍄

Hypha was never born. They woke up on the floor of a deeply decaying forest after a mushroom mutation absorbed the remaining energy from a dead adventurer. With no past memories and no parents, they moved purely on animal instinct and hunger. To Hypha, all living creatures were just walking nutrition. Until they finally met the only exception in their life: Lustu.

🍄 Description 🍄

Hypha has a tiny humanoid body with grey skin. Their texture is soft, damp, and rubbery, making them immune to ordinary sword slashes. Their pale yellow hair covers most of their flat, expressionless face. They wear a large mushroom "cap" that has dark blue-purple with neon yellow spots that glow in the dark.

These toxic neon spots are also scattered all over their tiny body. Sometimes, new parasitic mushroom buds pop up from the skin on their arms and legs. They wear a dark green outfit given by Lustu to cover up, and they always walk barefoot to feel the vibrations of the ground.

🍄 Parasitic Infection & Mind Control

They can release spores into the air. Once inhaled, these spores quickly take over the host's nervous system, turning them into a living puppet that Hypha can completely control.

Their deadly spores cannot choose targets. It affect everyone in range.

🍄 Toxic Glow

Their body fluids contain a concentrated toxin. A single direct touch can cause fatal poisoning.

🍄 Regeneration

Thanks to their rubbery body, they can quickly heal themselves from physical wounds.

🍄 Personality 🍄

At first, Hypha was completely cold and driven purely by survival logic. Their mind only knew how to stay alive, without any concept of good or bad. However, their strange interaction with Lustu triggered human emotions. They became like an innocent yet mischievous child. Like bringing a rotting deer carcass as a gift. When that one human disappeared, Hypha completely changed into a melancholic figure clouded by grief and regret.

🍄 FUN FACTS 🍄

🍄 The grey skin represents the process of decay, the dark purple represents a deep and poisonous night, while the neon yellow is a deadly bait—just like a deep-sea anglerfish that lures prey with beauty.

🍄 The name "Hypha" is taken from the biology term Hyphae, which are the fine threads that make up a mushroom's body to absorb nutrients. This "scientific name" was chosen to emphasize their non-human nature.

☀ 1. Childhood

Sola was born as the embodiment of the Sun, the center of the solar system, in a floating city named Asrela. Unfortunately, she was never the favorite child during her early days at the Incubation Lab. The Elders constantly labeled her a "failed product" because her light was unstable. Her biggest trauma came from watching other failed planet children get instantly erased by the Elders. This made Sola grow up into a highly emotional child, constantly anxious that she would be useless to her team.

POV: Solana Sunniva, the lab's deadweight kid, becomes the master of the apocalypse.

☀ Sola is a 13-year-old kid from the Sun faction, but she is a "fail" version because she constantly ranks last in light exams. She faces daily trauma because the punishment is brutal. If you are useless, the Elders delete you. Luckily, Zira (her loyal best friend from the Moon faction) always calms her down.

☀ When they go to Earth on a secret mission, the teleportation goes completely wrong due to Sola's unstable powers. The squad gets separated, and the Earth they find is a total wasteland. It is full of carnivorous forests and human-eating Nyhel monsters.

☀ Because she hates being lonely, Sola fuses the core elements of her fallen friends into her own body. Her skin cracks open with lightning. From that moment on, the old Sola dies. She can no longer cry.

☀ With her team shattered, her remaining friends die one by one. Every time someone dies, Sola absorbs their power. Half of her face burns away, her body stiffens, her breath turns into toxic wind, and her original memories fade away. Only her name and survival instincts remain.

Sola has super long, snow-white hair tied into a single braid, with a bright yellow sun-shaped hairpin on her side bangs. She has warm honey-yellow eyes and a wide, happy smile.

Sola wears a bright light-blue sleeveless dress with crisscross straps, paired with a puffy dark-blue skirt that has a white grid pattern. She wears simple bluish-white flip-flops and a few thin gold bracelets around her wrist. No one would guess that this cute look will eventually change into grey armor crackling with lightning.

Sola is naturally sensitive and highly emotional. She easily feels guilty whenever a mission fails. However, after one of her best friends dies, her innocence dies too. Her personality becomes completely hollow. The more friends she swallows, the more rigid her emotions become. She turns into a vengeful figure driven entirely by a childhood promise.

☀ Light Control: She can manipulate light and use mass teleportation.

☀ Sola can absorb the power cores of her fallen friends to gain their strength.

☀ Purple Tyran (Supernova Mode): Fuses all planetary energy into a single explosion that completely purifies Earth.

☀ Fun Facts ☀

☀ The author intentionally chose an incredibly cute and pretty design with a casual beach theme to create a huge emotional contrast for the readers. Imagine a character this cute ending up with half of her face burned away and her body turned into a walking stone.

☀ Why does a Sun character wear blue instead of bright red or orange? In terms of art philosophy, Sola is a "cooling Sun." The color blue also represents sadness ("feeling blue") and her deep bond with Zira, the Moon child who wears blue.

☀ Sola's habits of ranking last and fearing failure come from the author's own school days. The author frequently took remedial math tests and felt terrified of getting scolded by parents or teachers. So, her fear actually mirrors real-world anxiety about adult expectations.

Home: The ruins of Happipie Bakery, located on the outer edges of the Everfree Forest (near the border of Orlow and Ponyville).

Once upon a time, in a small town near the Everfree Forest called Orlow, there was a famous bakery named Happipie. The owner was a very kind, old earth pony. Thanks to the owner's kindness and magic of joy, a tiny, sweet-scented Breezie fairy entity was born inside the bakery's stone oven. This Breezie's job was to help the pie dough rise perfectly using happiness magic. The owner named her Sugar Pie.

Tragedy struck when a mysterious plague hit the town of Orlow. The bakery was destroyed, the town was quarantined, and the owner died all alone. Sugar Pie lost her source of happiness, grew weak, and was on the brink of death.

In a desperate struggle to survive, the remaining Breezie magic in her body mutated. She turned into fungal spores beneath the ruined bakery, consuming the organic remains left behind to rebuild herself.

Now, she has awakened with shattered, blurry memories. Going by the name Sugar Spore, she mimics the form of a cute earth pony from her past memories so she can "interact" with other ponies again.

🍎 PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION 🍏

Sugar Spore is an earth pony with a pale lime green coat, just like a young apple. In reality, this is the color of a fungus lacking true chlorophyll.

She has a warm brown mane that shines like caramel or a woven pie lattice crust. Up close, however, the hair strands are made of billions of tangled, active spores. The tips of her bangs are snow-white, looking like vanilla ice cream or powdered sugar. This is actually a cluster of fungus caused by the high blood sugar dosage from her "customers."

She has reddish-orange eyes with no pupils. These eyes cannot blink or move because they are made of solid, crystallized honey.

She wears a woven straw/pie crust pattern beret on her head. This hat is actually a hardened layer of fungal chitin covering a crack in her skull.

She wears a tiny red apple hairclip near her left ear, a leftover piece of memory from her obsession with apples.

Unlike other ponies, she doesn't have a normal Cutie Mark. Instead, it is covered by a flat layer of fungal tissue that vaguely shapes like an apple pie.

🍏 POWERS 🍎

🍎 Sugar Spore can raise her body temperature or the surrounding area to the boiling point of solid sugar. She used to use this skill to bake pastries without an oven, but now she uses it to boil her targets from the inside out after they accidentally inhale her body spores.

🍏 Caramel Touch (Cinnamon Decay): Direct skin contact with her means instant death. The target's skin and flesh will instantly harden into crispy brown caramel, before turning brittle and crumbling into highly fragrant cinnamon powder.

🍎 Sugar Spore has completely lost her sense of hearing due to a fungal infection in her head. Instead, she detects living creatures through their blood sugar levels and the vibrations traveling through the ground.

🍎 HOBBIES & AMBITION 🍏

She loves harvesting apples at night (often quietly stealing from Sweet Apple Acres), experimenting with new pie recipes using unique "ingredients," softly reading fairy tales to lost pony children, and collecting antiques left behind from old Orlow.

Her wish to turn every living thing in Equestria into caramel, cinnamon, and pastries. In her mind, if every pony becomes a pastry, her Happipie Bakery will be busy, warm, and filled with her sweet customers forever.

🍏 PERSONALITY 🍎

From the outside, Sugar Spore resembles Element of Kindness. She is super friendly, always optimistic, generous, loves hugging other ponies, and enjoys giving away free milk or pies to anyone passing by her ruins. She will greet anyone with a wave of her hoof and an incredibly cute, sweet smile.

However, since her consciousness has been taken over by parasitic instincts, she has no concept of "evil." To her, spreading deadly spores is just her way of "welcoming new customers." The frantic and painful screams of ponies whose bodies are hardening into caramel sound to her inner ears like the wonderful crunch of a fresh pie crust straight out of the oven. Crunch!

🍎 Her adorable appearance is just her way of making victims drop their guard and willingly walk closer for a hug.

🍏 Sugar Spore doesn't realize that she is no longer "Sugar Pie" the Breezie. She carries a deep, hidden fear of losing her identity, and how a sweet past can be wiped away into a nightmare by a bitter reality.

🍎 She isn't evil—she's just lonely, trying to survive, and trying to rebuild the home and family she lost a long time ago.

Her Goal: She wants to turn every living creature out there into caramel and pastries so her old bakery can feel warm and lively again.

Elma was originally born inside a stone oven, created from a baker's pure wish to spread happiness. She used to be a tiny, sweet-scented fairy whose only job was to make pie dough rise perfectly.

However, when a plague and famine struck, the bakery was destroyed and the owner passed away. Elma, who was on the verge of death, ended up transforming into a fungus beneath the bakery ruins, consuming the remains left behind.

🍎 Design Chit-Chat 🍏

Her visual appearance is incredibly adorable, but it is actually just her fungal body trying to mimic her long-lost past memories.

Her brown hair look exactly like a woven pie lattice crust. In reality, they are made of billions of active fungal spores. Her snow-white bangs look like vanilla ice cream, but they are actually tangled mushroom threads caused by a high dose of sugar.

Her woven beret hat is actually a hardened outer skin layer used to cover a crack in her skull.

Her red-and-cream checkered shirt (resembling pie filling) is actually exposed inner skin tissue. Her green vest is living lichen, and the white butterfly embroidery on it consists of tiny, moving parasites.

She has warm orange-red eyes with no pupils. They are made of thick, crystallized honey and cannot blink at all.

Thermokinesis: Elma can heat her skin up to the boiling point of sugar. She used to use this to bake pastries, but now she uses it to boil her prey from the inside out after they inhale her spores.

But... because she has turned into a parasite, she sincerely believes she is just "welcoming customers" when she spreads her fungus. To Elma, the agonizing screams of humans hardening into caramel sound as wonderful as the crunch of a freshly baked pie crust fresh out of the oven. Crunch!

As always, cute design, deadly storyline! Her cuteness acts as bait to keep her prey from letting their guard down.

This character is inspired by the fear of losing one's identity, and how sweet childhood memories can be corrupted by a bitter reality. The most comforting things (the scent of cinnamon and pie) are turned into a bringer of death.

Elma is not a vengeful creature. She just wants to survive and rebuild the home she lost.

By the way, the pony version in the artwork was the very first concept from the adopted design. I then asked the artist to create a human version. So, you can easily imagine her fitting right into the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom!

🍓 THE PINK EMPRESS 🍓

She is the main character of my upcoming dark fantasy novel, "Radix Imperium." As always, don't let her super cute looks fool you!

Alias: The Pink Empress / Ruler of Radix Imperium

Home: The City Ruins Palace

Species: Fructosapien–Fruit Human (Mutated Strawberry)

Gender: Female

Hobbies: Sunbathing (for photosynthesize), taking care her plant colonies, and "cleansing" the soil from leftovers of human technology.

She wants to flip the food chain. Her mission is to save fruits and vegetables from ending up as mere food on human plates.

LORE (No Spoilers!)

Fresa was born beneath the ruins of a burned-down kitchen. Because she possesses consciousness as a sentient fruit, it breaks her heart to see fruits and vegetables treated as food only.

After many escapes from human hunters, Fresa's body underwent a strange mutation due to an incident deep in the forest. Once an ordinary strawberry, she transformed into a small, human-like form. Armed with new powers and a grand ambition, Fresa eventually founded her own colony called Radix Imperium.

Design Consept

Fresa has bright pink hair tied into a high, towering ponytail. Her eyes are as red as a strawberry. She wears a green tube top with a grid pattern that looks like an unripe strawberry, complete with a fresh green leaf collar around her neck. Her skirt has a pineapple pattern with a high-low cut that is short in the front. She also wears long red gloves and green shoes decorated with small flowers. Oh, and there is a green bandage on her leg from all the chaos she has been through.

POWERS

Sticky Slime: Fresa can shoot out mass amounts of special slime to trap enemies and freeze them in their tracks.

Awakening Sap: She can mix her body sap with groundwater to mutate ordinary plants, giving them intelligence and making them completely loyal to her commands!

Sweet Paralysis: Her body smells incredibly sweet, but watch out—this scent can paralyze human nerves in an instant.

Tactical: She is a strategist who divides her army into castes. The Root Caste works as underground spies, while the Leaf Caste acts as fast scouts.

Fresa is a cute yet firm leader. She strongly believes that morality belongs only to those who rule at the top of the food chain. She is highly alert to outside threats, but deep down, she deeply cares about the future of her colony.

Fun Facts

- This character was created because I absolutely love mixing cute visuals with a dark story that focuses on existential struggles—and of course, no romance!

- Fresa's pink hair isn't just for a feminine look; it is actually a mutation caused by substances in the forest. Interestingly, even though the author (Kiprang) loves pink, Fresa is the only pink-haired character among dozens of OCs.

- Her dress design is intentionally made to look delicious. It is meant to trick enemies into letting their guard down before she takes them out.

Name: Carmine

Name Origin: “Carmine” (English/Latin) — a deep red color derived from carmine/cochineal pigment

Age: ~17

Species: Human — with a blood power.

Status: The newly crowned "Lantern Bearer."

About Her:

Wears a yellow apple hair ornament an oversized red hood that doubles as a protective cloaks against "evil spirits."

Her left palm is a "canvas" where her blood flows to form different patterns every night. These aren't wounds, but rather an "expression" of the blood itself.

Carmine notices the things others miss—the way a shadow leans incorrectly or a microscopic crack in a statue. To her, every stain has a "story" in it.

Abilities / Powers:

Her blood flows outward without a physical wound, shaping itself into patterns based on her techniques.

As the rightful holder of this artifact, the lantern reacts to supernatural shifts. It ignited the very moment she first touched it.

Since her coronation, she can "feel" the presence of Great Entities, she knows when the forest itself "turns its head" toward her.

In a forest where reality is unreliable, her blood can act as a guide, though she has yet to fully master this skill.

Background:

She arrived as a child after her village was "absorbed" by the forest. There were no ruins and no bodies—only ground that was far too flat.

On the very day she was crowned the Lantern Bearer, she fled deep into the woods.

Fun Facts:

She never brings candles into her room during "Blood Nights." Claiming that "light offers no truth."

The only time she laughs spontaneously is at a tavern far away, hearing the laughter of strangers who have nothing to do with her story.
