Adding that she had always wanted to be in the business and couldn’t imagine a normal life for her future when she was a teen. I find it rather fascinating. Such willpower, stubbornness, in not having a normal work, normal life and throw yourself in an adventure that has what? 1%? 0,1%? chance of success. Hmm, with such resolve it will be fun to follow R’s career after 08/31! ヽ(=´▽`=)ﾉ — Q - Any summer song from SKE48 repertory you like especially? Rena - Our 12th single released on July 2013 「Utsukushii Inazuma」has extremely powerful tune and dance, the MV is something we didn’t have before, both sexy and passionate. This song reflects perfectly the blazing hotness of summer, it’s the most enjoyable song to sing during this season. Moves and lyrics also match, making it very interesting to perform. Q - What did SKE48 teach you? Rena - It made me grow considerable as a person. Joining SKE48 made my existence 10 or even 20 time more abundant than it would have been otherwise, it taught me so much too that I’m infinitely grateful for it. If I had not join SKE48… I would have probably enter a small troupe somewhere and be spending my free time in my room playing video games (laugh). Q - What things do you fancy immersing yourself in? Rena - Lately it has been watching movies. One day that I was going to watch a movie outside for references, after a long time without being able to do so, I realized that “watching movies in theaters is really something special”. And since that day I’m trying to watch a new movie everyday. When I have time I go to the theater but most of the time I watch them when traveling. I like how movies bring me to discover approaches of the world and stories that I didn’t suspect existed.
