Oh, also, that's Kasimir playing the "evil priest" setting the goddess free- the idea was since he'd be "on her side" in the script he could work in the background on the ritual to restore the actual goddess without her targeting him. We already got him eaten by a giant spider once during our aborted attempt to do this at the shrine in Berez, so we were really determined not to let him get hurt this time. Which has been... mostly successful? ish? What's a little lightning damage between friends?

Elsewhere, in the darkest heart of an ancient fortress, Terror stirs from his slumber. His pale hand splays against his sepulchre, rising to his feet as the shadows dance in the flickering torch light. His pale lips part, bloodied and glistening. The Devil smiles.

Loud, solid footfall can be heard against the wet cobbles in a steady and purposeful rhythm, belonging to a broad shouldered and intimidating man with a fierce expression. Raindrops glance off his shaved head, running down the hardened angles of his face, the bridge of his nose without him so much as blinking. He scowls, his jaw set and eyes burning with barely contained fury. He strikes an imposing silhouette, draped in a long, fur lined cloak. At one side, his hand clenched in a tight fist; at his other, deep red skin is pulled tight over the clenched knuckles of a monstrous, devilish arm.
