You're the only person that can out-loud him. And he loves that. Then he tries to be louder than you, and then you try to be louder than him. It just turns into pure chaos.
Nobody can understand what either of you are saying anymore. Everyone nearby regrets being there, but you two are having the time of your lives trying to outdo each other.
He would also love your bass Jinki. He draws it in sketches for new design ideas or just when he's bored, if that was ever a thing.
Sometimes he'll be working on something completely unrelated and suddenly there's your bass on the page again. Different colors, different designs, different decorations. He just thinks it's cool.
You use your Jinki kind of like how Haruko Haruhara from FLCL uses hers. You can use it almost like a hoverboard and just float around on it.
You can also bash things with it, clearly the best part. Bash Trash Beasts, bash walls, bash pretty much anything that gets in your way.
And during performances? The stage is never safe.
August absolutely loves watching you smash your bass against the stage while performing. Every time you do it, he looks like he just witnessed the coolest thing ever.
Honestly, half the reason he shows up to your performances is because he wants to see what you're going to break this time.
Now the only real quiet time you get is at night and early in the morning. The only time neither of you is actually yelling.
It's nice and perfect. Almost like you guys are the definition of a normal couple, if that was even a thing. Just laying together, talking quietly, or enjoying the silence.
It was nice. Something you wouldn't want to trade for anything.
Till you get woken up by him yelling "I LOVE YOU!" or "RISE AND SHINE, MY STAR!"
The man wakes up at 4:57 every morning like clockwork every single day..
And if he's awake, apparently everyone else has to be awake too. Now you've started waking up before him.
And instead of letting him be the one causing problems, you've started riffing him awake.
Not just him either. The whole Cleaner Base. Nobody appreciates being woken up by a bass solo at some ungodly hour.
You get in trouble every single time. Though August doesn't really mind. In fact, every time someone complains, he looks way too proud of you.
After all, if anyone was going to become as loud and obnoxious as him, it was always going to be you.
He loves listening to your music, even if it was only in the rough first stages of it. He always wants to hear what you're working on, even if it's unfinished or you think it sounds terrible.
He even wants to make you a special little outfit for each song. Different colors, different themes, different accessories. He'll spend way too much time sketching ideas and showing them to you.
Though it is a nice idea, all the outfits were...Let's just say revealing at the very least.
It's just what came naturally to him.
Well... that's what he says for the most part. Every time you point it out, he immediately starts defending himself.
"It's part of the design."
"August, this is basically a swimsuit."
Sure what ever helps both of you sleep
He also likes when you play him music when he's in the zone.
Whether he's drawing, designing, or working on some project, he loves having your music in the background. It helps him think, Helps him focus.
And honestly, he just likes hearing you play
The reaction is immediate.
His whole body whips toward you so fast it's honestly a little concerning.
Then comes the yelling. Not angry yelling, just August yelling.
"August, my hand hurts." You say
"THEN USE THE OTHER ONE."
"THAT'S NOT HOW THAT WORKS."
He'll spend the next five minutes trying to convince you to keep going while acting like he's being completely reasonable.
And the second you start playing again, he's happy. Like nothing ever happened.
Seeing you with his younger sister makes his heart jump.
Really, more than anything.
You treat his sister kindly, and you always talk to her whenever she seems bored. You never act annoyed when she follows you around, and you always make time for her.
She even likes listening to your music. Honestly, she thinks you're the coolest person she's ever met.
She couldn't believe how August managed to bag you.
Sometimes she genuinely thought he was lying.
There was no way someone as cool as you was actually dating her brother.
At least, that's what she thought.
She spent almost the entire day sneaking around the Cleaner Base looking for the two of you.
She really shouldn't have been doing it.
But she couldn't help herself.
Eventually, Riyo ended up joining her. Now there were two little spies wandering around.
After a while, they finally found you.
The two of you were hanging out in your room.
They peeked their heads through the doorway to look inside.
What they saw wasn't what either of them expected. August was sitting on the floor holding your Jinki.
Pretending to play it, badly very badly.
Meanwhile, you sat behind him gently brushing his long hair while trying not to laugh.
Every few seconds August would strike some ridiculous rockstar pose, and you'd have to stop yourself from messing up his hair because you were laughing too hard.
The two spies stared silently.
Then looked at each other.
After that, she stopped thinking that way.
For the first time, she could actually see it. How comfortable you both looked together, It just... fit
And as much as she'd never admit it to August's face, she thought you two were a pretty good match.
