So, good? Right. As a person with chronic health issues that are medically recognised, I've been sick for years. And its been hard, emotionally straining, but at times very awarding. Like how I'm able to write for short peroids now despite being unable to hold a pen months ago. Im proud of how far I've come and nothing will change that. Transabled people, or Trans disabled people chose to be that way. I didn't.
You simpily Cannot just go arround, claim to have a disability that you biologically do not have. I'm aware that some disabilities are caused by mental disorders or even mimic such health issues, I'm not complaining about them. They've had it just as difficult, and I hope they have the best. Im saying that Transabled is not a thing. It is a made up concept that can cause more harm than good.
Well, some may ask, oh "how does it cause harm? Its not hurting anyone, let people live life." No, because it is quite literally harming me.
Months ago, i went to the doctors for passing out. I could not make it through school without passing out once or twice per lesson, along with light twitchy symtoms, photosensitivity severe chronic headaches which made it hard for me to focus. Along with the fact i gradually lost the ability to hold a pen properly. This went on for months, I was disorientated, exhausted and I had finals coming up. I went to my doctor, who told me that she believed I was fine. That because of the fact she had had a simular patient before, who faked my exact symtoms. Simpily for social empathy and attention. That she believed that it was not a reason for panic or immediate medical attention.
Then well, "that's her fault. Not the person who faked it." In a way, i suppose. However, if i spent so much resources on a patient who faked it all. I would be scheptical if another patient came in with simular symtoms. I wouldn't blame her.
Think about it, I'm just one of many who have experienced this. And im sure many many others have experienced much more severe situations or versions of this. So please, reconsider your "Transabled identity". We do not celebrate that here. And if you still identify as "Transabled", please do seek help. Medically. Thank you.
