Babysitter Vlad AU! (Jack and Maddie went through the babysitting services of every eligible mom and teenage girl in town. Ironically, their house is extremely haunted whenever they're not there, so literally everyone is too scared to babysit. This means there's only one person in the entire world who they would trust to watch their kids who also wouldn't be bothered by the rampant paranormal activity. And they're sure he'll be DELIGHTED to receive a random desperate phone call from his old college friends!)

My piece for Phantasmal Nights, the @dpfantasyzine!

This is an AU I'm naming Phantasmal Quest after the zine. You may recognize it as the return of that AU I did for an Ectoberhaunt prompt in 2023!

My idea here is that the Ghost Zone has equal amounts of Neverland and Sherwood Forest inspiration, and Danny is simultaneously a Peter Pan and Robin Hood figure, and his Lost Boys/Merry Men are Ember, Youngblood, Poindexter, and Cujo.

Danielle is the protagonist who isekaied herself in order to bring Danny home after he fell into the Ghost Realm as a little kid. While there, she magically binds a certain dark warlord to act as her guide on her quest. (because I'm incapable of making an AU that doesn't include Dani and Vlad's dynamic <3)

Her quest then takes her all over the beautiful yet treacherous Ghost Realm as she searches for her brother while being hunted by the Ghost King and his Court.

A/N: At last, I can finally begin to share Chapter One of my Urban Jungle rewrite. This long-term webcomic has been a true labor of love adapting ideas I've had floating around in my brain since first watching Danny Phantom in 2022 and developing my belief that the third season would have made an extremely compelling backdrop for a cheese melt plotline. This AU version of Dani is first and foremost Vlad's daughter, an unwelcome interloper on Danny's home turf and an unavoidable rival placed on a public pedestal by his archenemy-turned-mayor.

Special thanks goes out to those who contribute to and maintain the Danny Phantom Fandom Wiki, and to Butch Hartman, who wrote the original Urban Jungle. His version is the perfect setting for a landmark Danny and Dani team-up episode but missing the most important element: Dani herself. I hope I've done this story the justice it deserves.
