“It was the birth of my son, J.Q.”

2. And the low point?

“Finding out he was deaf.”

3. What was the biggest thing that happened to your show in the last ten years?

“I think it was the live week. It was exciting to be a part of that. And then we won an Emmy for Best Show that year!”

4. What was your favorite Soaps In Depth cover or story?

“I guess it was the first Soaps In Depth cover with baby Starr and me.”

5. What was the most surprising thing you ever read in Soaps In Depth?

“When I finally made the Top 5 in the reader’s poll!”

6. How have you changed in the last decade?

“I think I’ve learned many life lessons, and I’ve aged.”

7. How has your character changed?

“Blair hasn’t really changed much at all; she still makes the same mistakes over and over.”

8. How has daytime changed?

“We work much faster and with less rehearsal time. And we never shoot things in sequence.”

9. What do you know now that you wish you had known ten years ago?

“Things have been great the last ten years… it’s going back twenty years that I wish I could change a few things!”

10. How do you hope to answer question number one when we ask you again in another ten years?

“I’m sure it will be the same answer.”

Todd (reading the invoices for the fashion show): “Champagne, duck liver, fish eggs, nothing anybody normal would eat, perfect for a party like this.”
