I was also feeling nostalgic about post endwalker, so I added a certain person and a certain place in the background (keeping as spoiler-free as I can, and that's pretty much it for the sketch!

I still feel like I'm missing something, but it's probably the lights and shadows that I still didn't add. After that come the hardest part: actually doing his style

Wip of a challenge: redraw a Hunter X Hunter manga cover, I chose volume 34 simply because I wanted to draw Hisoka's phat ass. I'm a simple person.

At the start of the month, I felt inspired to FINALLY draw my internet persona.

For about 10 years I've been using the name Kim/Kimiko/Kim-Iko on the internet, but Kim never had a face for herself.

It started off with just a doddle of her face and some expressions, and I didn't really hope to do much more than that.

It's safe to say that at least 80% of her design is based on all my years playing FFXIV, which is where I first used the name Kimiko (that account probably doesn't exist anymore). For 8 years, swapping between accounts until I finally settled with Kim, I played as a female Lalafel. If you're not familiar with the game, it's a race of small people who resemble children, and most of the times have the mannerisms of one. I grew very, very fond of her, but things happened in my life and I no longer felt like she resonated with me, so much that I felt I needed to change (cliche) and, safe to say NOT impulsively, I swapped to male Viera (I know what you're thinking), a race opposite of Lalafel, of tall creatures with bunny-like features. And since I made my personality based on this game, I decided Kim's face should reflect that as well. In the end, she has both an innocent child-like face, mixed with bunny-like features (ears, teeth, red eyes although the drawings are not colored yet...).

Despite this not being my art style, doddles of Kim seem to capture her essence more than my regular half-rendered style. Probably because she's more whimsy like that, I don't really know why tbh... Probably because my style is too heavy on details for a creature like her, with too many lines and the vibes it evokes are mostly sad although I'm not sure if it's because of the subjects I usually draw or just the style, maybe it's a personal tendency...

A year ago or so I tried making her for the first time, and the sketch resembles a little of the final art from this year. The main similarity being probably the hair, which is the same shapes and flow of my very first OC, back from 2015 (but that's a story for another time). Wow. My first OC is from over 10 years ago and she's still super influential in my art...

I guess not a wip?? Congratulations me for finishing something. Original picture is credited in...well, the picture. Then I drew over it :D

I SUCK at drawing shoes, it's probably my first time drawing a full body (I know, I know) I simply do NOT care for anything under the thighs, but I did this for a challenge in a closed group, and I'm honestly proud of it 🎉.
