And who is trapped now, VOX???
Bonus:
Tips for Writing Injuries
✧ Broken ribs suck. You don’t just “walk it off.” Breathing hurts. Laughing hurts. Existing hurts. Characters with rib injuries won’t be doing heroic sprints.
✧ Concussions aren’t instant naps. Dazed vision, nausea, dizziness, maybe even personality changes, but they’re not going to collapse neatly like in the movies.
✧ Blood loss is sneaky. It’s not just about dramatic pools of blood. It’s dizziness, confusion, and the body getting cold as circulation tanks.
✧ Adrenaline lies. Someone can take a serious injury and not feel it until the fight’s over. That “I didn’t realize I was bleeding until later” trope? Very real.
✧ Twisted ankles are brutal. One bad step and suddenly running is off the table. Even walking hurts like hell. Perfect way to ground a chase scene.
✧ Burns linger. Even small burns hurt more than most people expect. Blisters, infection risk, constant pain, it’s not just a cool scar later.
✧ Dislocated shoulders = useless arm. Characters can’t keep swinging a sword or firing a gun. They’re basically fighting one-armed until it’s fixed.
✧ Shock is a thing. Pale skin, trembling, rapid heartbeat, and eventually disorientation. A character might not even realize how bad their wound is.
✧ Stitches aren’t magic. Getting sewn up is painful and recovery takes time. They’re not instantly battle-ready after a needle and thread.
✧ Scars tell stories. Some fade, some don’t. Some stay sensitive forever. Don’t forget the aftermath when the wound becomes part of the character.
Honestly if you want to delete a scene from a fic you should consider keeping it in a second file and posting it separately like a DVD bonus feature

canon mustafar
The other day I drew this Remus with his emotional support dog.
me, reading my own incomplete writing : *gasp* and then what happened?
do you ever just … picture a whole scene, a whole fanfiction in your head, you know how to place every single word of the english dictionary that you need (or your language dictionary), you know how to structure your sentences, you know just what your characters are going to say to each other and then… and then you just open microsoft word.

We all agree tiktok is just 2014 tumblr round 2 but I keep the app solely for comments like these
Exhibit B:
It just keeps on giving
Bringing this post back to add my favorite interaction to date
Your roommate is a hulking demon, a former warlord with millennia of combat experience, and the picture of menace and brutality. You open the door to find them standing stark naked, their brand new tuxedo held carefully in their claws and a desperate plea for help in their eyes.
Oh they totally fucked after this
I made a little clothing guide for some Dragon Age regions
Some may not be exactly the same as the references that appear in the game or in the concepts, but I wanted to give a little of my vision to the guide.
Ferelden
Ferelden is close to the Frostback Mountains and Orlais and as Leliana and Zevran once said, Ferelden is cold, so I thought it would be a cool idea to put on thick clothes with a lot of fur so the Fereldans can protect themselves from the cold.
Tevinter
Dragon Age 4 is approaching and it's already evident that we're going to be in the Tevinter Imperium, so I thought I'd give a "redesign" to the look we already know, I know that some like what we see in the game, I like it too, but like I said at the beginning "I want to give my vision"
Yes, I know, almost everything Game of Thrones, but in my defense I must say that Game of Thrones fashion is incredibly Tevinter vibes
Orlais
We've already seen in the game and in the concept art that Orlais is all about being flamboyant and flashy and what's more flamboyant and flashy than mid-1500s fashion?
Antiva
Home to the two loves of my life, Zevran and Josephine, Antiva fashion is something I really love… The puffy arms, the breast-enhancing corsets, the leather vests, idk, I just like Antiva
Nevarra
I don't exactly have much to say about nevarra, but I did some research and found some concepts that I thought were interesting so I chose some clothes that I think would go well with the region
Frostback Basin
In Inquisition we can see that the clothes they wear are quite furry and well protected from the cold, so I think it would be a good idea to inspire some of their clothing in Inuit clothing
For now these are just a few ideas I have about the clothing regions, but maybe I'll come back with more soon? Who knows? But I hope this helps someone who wants to make some fanart about the regions I mentioned

The opposite of the Mercer Effect (where people listen to critical role and have unrealistically high expectations for the immersiveness of a campaign and expect Matt Mercer's energy and skill) is what I experienced, the Mcelroy effect, where you listen to TAZ and expect there to be way less rules and a lot more fucking around
something about parallels
