I think anyone can tell my favourite species. I just enjoy projecting my culture on them tbh. I kinda made up in my head that they have more of an eastern tradition and have a lot more religious sects.

The man portrayed in the drawing is a leader of one of the temples welcoming people into the temple. The temple itself is sort of based off of hindu/buddhist shrines! I do wonder if religions or at least their messages remain similar after billions of years..

Small project I'm doing with illustrations of the post-humans because I absolutely adore when people draw them with so much humanity and actually living in society and not simply as "creepy" Illustrations. I started with Assymetric people so it doesn't have too much but I tried

Bug Facers

Sheik changed their name and after kinda following him for a few days because they had nothing else to do and wanted to basically study him, somehow basically followed Link to smash without him or anyone else noticing.

The Hands immediately picked up on this stranger and watched as no one noticed them, they were incredibly impressed Sheik had even gotten here, much less evaded detection from the heroes and villains. So they basically summoned them to FD and asked if they wanted the official spot on the roster. Sheik immediately said yes.

The Hands also told them basically how people rolled so they wouldn’t be caught off guard and to socialize. To make sure they socialized, Crazy made sure that they teleported Sheik back into the middle of a conversation between Little Mac and Sonic.

After an awkward attempt at an explanation of their identity, Master Hand showed up and explained to everyone who they were.

Sheik became fast friends with some of the teens and, with a little time, became comfortable around the other Zelda characters, most of whom they had done extensive research on.

Undyne would probably be good friends with Meta Knight, for all of the reasons you could think of--their dedication to training, their (unpredictable) code of honor, their shared habit of getting into a fight on a whim. Everyone is conflicted between “It’s good that Meta Knight has a friend with the same hobbies,” and “Oh god there’s two of them now.”

Serperior wouldn’t really be hostile toward children, but it’d be kinda uncomfortable around children, unlike someone like Incineroar.

Serperior would probably have either a Modest or Mild nature.

Everyone would question whether the Among Us “crewmate” is actually a crewmate or impostor outside of Smash, due to their ability to both perform tasks and sabotage things. They refuse to clarify one way or the other.

Well, first off, what everyone was doing for the most part:

Midway through the day, Richter and Terry were roughhousing in the cafeteria at one point while decorating and broke one of the tables. Most of their day was panicked rushing combined with the weirdest stealth mission ever as they tried to replace the table without anyone noticing that they broke it in the first place.

Chrom and Incineroar found out at one point and were asked to create a diversion so no one else would notice.

So basically, imagine this in your head, if you will: Chrom and Incineroar–a king and a burly bipedal fire cat–doing a bunch of weird bullcrap while in the background a vampire slayer and an ergokinetic mixed martial artist work together to carry this huge (like, absolutely massive) dinner table while simultaneously trying to be “““stealthy””” about it.

Samus and Captain Falcon stayed down by the Thieving Bastard Jail (located in the primary basement) to make sure no one tried leaving.

After he slipped through the bars and escaped, Mr. Game & Watch had to go in his own cage.

Samus had to keep her eye on Sans constantly, because the second she looked away he’d be gone instantly, with no signs of where he went (it was almost always the kitchen).

Sonic, Red, Leaf, and Yoshi were primarily in charge of getting needed groceries. Yoshi and Sonic’s legs, as well as the two Charizard’s wings, were very tired by the time everything was finished.

It didn’t help that this was going on at the same time as Richter and Terry’s “table calamity”, which they were trying to keep secret.

Due to how crowded everything was, Pit and Dark Pit got lost several times while trying to bring desserts to the cafeteria.

It didn’t help that Palutena was busy with decorating and Viridi kept “guiding” them to various locations that weren’t the cafeteria.

I will gladly give you some wholesome Pit and Kirby headcanons.

Whenever Palutena’s not around (or Pit has used up his 5-minute Power of Flight limit), he’ll grab onto Kirby’s feet and Kirby will float around with Pit dangling off of him. Kirby likes being strong and carrying Pit around, and Pit likes being able to fly for longer periods of time.

Kirby likes to draw Pit wordless picture books/comics. They aren’t great drawings, but they’re good enough to be comprehensible to Pit without the need for words.

Pit was surprised to find out that Kirby can be healed by hot springs like him. While hot springs are shallow enough that Pit can only really stand or sit in them, Kirby is small enough that he’s able to swim around in them, and enjoys doing so.

some headcanons+doodles about how i think inklings and octolings (inkfish) bathe, taking the water weakness into account. I think it's boring to ignore the water weakness and it is undeniably canon, see this post for more info!

I've heard ideas like ink-based piping or attachments that change water as it comes out into ink, but imo the former sounds expensive to install everywhere, most species aren't ink based and like water, and even inklings and octolings still use water. The latter seems too... magical?

I also wanted to keep it simple. high pressure mist showers or bath bombs are modern inventions, but sitting at the edge of a hot spring and wiping ones body down with a damp sea sponge is something i can imagine an inkling doing 1000 years ago if they had that bathing culture.

These are just a few ideas. The way we humans bathe differs depending on culture and time, and even the individual, and I'm sure there would be truth to that for inkfish too.

If I'm not mistaken, in Zelda lore, Hylians' pointed ears allow them to hear messages from the Gods that normal humans can't hear and I'd imagine Palutena's Guidances would count as a message from the gods, even if most of them are jokes
