'Never do something to someone you wouldnt want done to yourself'

Which didn't bother me bc I didn't need to interact with people for years.

Until 10 years later when I realised that people don't actually want to have direct and straightforward communication, where they have to explain their true feelings, and indulge in emotionally heavy understanding of one another to someone they have known for 4 months.

And it still baffles me that many people in daily life will put on a charade, act like they are close with people they don't feel a connection to, project their insecurities and not learn from theor behaviour, refuse to tell a person they don't like hanging out with them and leave the othern one clueless of their behaviour.
