READ THEM HERE I never really know what to write/post on tumblr. I am more active on my twitter. So unless it's a post forwarded from my main site, I'll probably just reblog art I like. I'm super down for answering questions. I like to talk about art and writing. I consume a lot of Urban Fantasy books and media. Right now I'm digging Teen Wolf and Dresden Files the most. Buffy was my first supernatural favorite. Could be worse; could be raining.

In 38 years of life I have learned 1 thing;

If anyone is ever training you to replace them in a position and tells you 'its an easy job I don't do much' what this means is that you are about to spend six months to a year catching up on all the stuff they didn't do and sorting out the stuff they did poorly.

In related news I finally managed to finish un fucking my predecessor's lack of a filing system.

Apparently this post is wildly Jon from Magnus Archives coded but I regret to inform everyone that there were no weird sketchy paranormal occurences. There were only ten banker boxes full of unsorted training records, incident reports, uniform recipts, daily activity reports, and similar quite ordinary and boring paperwork. There have been zero flesh worms or NotEntities. I did find a stash of paper clips in one box under the papers but that's it.

I was talking with my friend @kelmcdonald that I was thinking of changing how I describe Bip's canon voice because I'm irritated that their character gets auto-sorted by a lot of readers as "male" despite being a sexless and genderless computer worm, and Kel suggested Natasha Lyonne, so now I can't stop reading Bip's lines in my head as crunchy synthesized Natasha Lyonne.

Hey everyone ~ I've been lucky enough to know Kel McDonald for years now and make a few designs for them, and they have a new graphic novel up on Kickstarter as of today! One of the rewards is a t-shirt design I'll be printing about a ~✨pretty exclusive club✨~.

Kel has an awesome library of monstrous noir mysteries and oodles of great queer fiction, they put out awesome work and help a lot of other artists in the Portland area get their work to print as well - I wish I was half as tenacious! You should totally check out the new book along with all the others available online; I always get sucked right in to the dialogue and character interactions when I pick up a book from them at a convention =) check it out for yourself!
