Spin the wheel. That's who's trying to kill you.
Spin the wheel again. That’s who’s trying to protect you.
(If you have zero idea about a name you got, spin until you see someone you recognize.)
Are you safe?
Absolutely not. I'm dead. 100% dead.
I might stay alive, but it'll be a really close thing.
I'll take some hits, for certain, but I should be okay in the end.
A few attacks might get through, but nothing concerning.
The attacker might be able to get in one lucky hit. If that.
I am the opposite of worried. I'm 100% safe.
…Look. I've tried picturing this. But I honestly don't know how to answer.
(I've run this poll twice before, expanding it significantly for the second run. With about a year passed since that second run, I thought it was time to add another couple hundred names to the list and have another go.)
Dave Allen, heavyweight boxer and Louis' longtime childhood friend, interviewed by The Sun Sport.

"Thank you @louist91 for donating food with us to kids and grandparents in need in NYC. He just played a fantastic show @thegarden and we partnered with @chips4thave to provide a mobile pantry and free groceries to a neighborhood. Food is love. Music is love. We are grateful!" - via greatergoodmusiccharity

Tried to write a caption a bunch of times, failed. I just love him getting everything, love that we did that and do that and are doing that for him, from way back when right up to now, and I had so much fun, the feedback loop of giving him everything and him making it SO rewarding is endless. Fuck it I'd do it all again.

📣| “I'm not going to lie, I'm... I'm through the hardest part now, because fucking hell, I was a bag of nerves, honestly. We're here now, we're here now, right. Right, I've got a few things I want to say, maybe I'll sit down, feels like one of them chats, don't it? Obviously, on a day like today, you know, I... I've been reflecting, I've been thinking about my whole career. This is an important night for me, it's an important night for us as a collective, you know. I can remember distinctly, the year before I got put in the band, I actually also auditioned on The X Factor, right, and I remember distinctly... I was 17, I remember distinctly coming back and I... I got a 'no', I wasn't going to get through, and I remember being in the car with my mom, we stopped off, grabbed a Subway, that was lovely, and I'm just bawling my eyes out, being like, 'I fucking really want this, I really, really want this.' And you know, at that age, it's... it's kind of difficult to deal with that kind of shit, definitely. So, but... but luckily, you know, I had a... a good, good support and good advice around me, and I... and I went again, and then luckily, I got put in the band. And I fucking cherished every single year we had in the band, that was incredible. And you know, then there was a time where that wasn't a thing anymore, whatever we called it, fucking hiatus, or whatever. And... so I was kind of at that same place again, I was like, 'I really fucking want this, I don't want to let this go, you know, I fucking love doing what I do.' But I couldn't, I couldn't really, maybe to my own detriment, I couldn't really see the finish line like that, or even see the light at the end of the tunnel like that, I was... I was kind of worried, I was kind of worried that that might be the end for me. And I want you guys to know, you know, I say a version of this every night, this is a longer form of it, but... I simply would not have the fucking confidence to get up and play a place like Madison Square Garden. But I feel really, really, really fucking proud of what we've created, and tonight is just... is the ultimate idea. So, I... I never really feel like I can quite articulate just how much you've done for me. But honestly... tonight is one of those moments, I want everyone to leave here tonight, right, if you've seen my first tour... I want everyone to leave here tonight to... to take that, you know. You... you're responsible. I guess I played a part too, we did it together, we did it together, right. And... yeah, forever grateful for nights like tonight, it's... it's really, really special, so thank you so much. But anyway, to top things off, I did want to say, 'Side by Side' is for you. Like, I wrote that song... I actually wanted to say this before the song, but I crept up on my own emotional, not gonna lie. Um, but uh, that song's for you, listen to the words, feel it. I fucking love you, we've been doing it for a long time now, some of us, so thank you for everything, thank you for all of the passion you guys give me, I fucking love you. Right. Before I fucking choke up. Here we go!”

It’s 104% okay to come to your DM and just say, “Hi, can we be friends?” And then start asking you random questions.
another reason to love Harry🥹 he left a message in one of the local newspapers (he did the same in Amsterdam) but out of all available newspapers / magazines he chose the one that is sold by homeless people. They get copies for £2.5 and sell them for £5, so they are kinda doing business instead of begging. I wouldn’t say that many buy them (I see them with a lot of copies left from previous weeks) but this week all of them will be sold out thanks to Harry and the homeless will get more money than usual. Such a small gesture but that will make a difference for those people.
Did he really? That's so amazing! God, I fucking love him. What a brilliant idea.
Hi Gina,
Regarding your last post, I wanted to share something with you.
My brother was a professional football/soccer player in Germany up until 5 years ago when he retired due to an injury. He played in the 2. Bundesliga for 15 years and changed his club a few times, which meant that he had to move around Germany a few times. During the last 10 years of his career he had a wife + children. They watched his games when they played in their hometown but they've never been to an away game of his. The last few years he played for a club that was 2 hours away from their hometown and they didn't even move there because they had their own lives with work and school and everything in their hometown where his former club was. So he rented a flat in his new work place and stayed there whenever he needed.
What I want to say: it is absolutely not realistic for partners of athletes etc. to let their own life revolve around their "famous" partner. Not even when they can work remote or are stay-at-home partners (which my sister in law was).
Another things I always think about in relation to H+L and the image clauses in their contracts:
My brother had those clauses, too. He wasn't allowed to do any 'dangerous' sports to avoid unnecessary injuries, that for example also included skiing/snowboarding. A lot of permitted stuff was punished with fees, e. g. running late for practice or gaining too much weight over the holidays. During the holidays or his time off in summer he also had to train while wearing a fitness watch to record what he did. And once he had to pay a big amount of money because he did something that harmed his club's image (at least in their perception) and someone posted a photo of him doing that on twitter (I won't go into detail because it can probably still be retraced on twitter, but it wasn't something illegal). And all that although my brother wasn't widely famous and didn't even play in the 1. Bundesliga or for the national team. So I can't even begin to imagine what stuff like that would entail on a wider spectrum of fame (H+L).
Wow. That’s all so interesting. I never even really considered financial penalties for “messing up.” And, like you say, he wasn’t even as famous as some other athletes (or boy band members). Plus, he wasn’t closeted on top of all of that!
Ugh. When I think about Harry bursting into tears when signing his new contract because he was no longer bound by the sort of purity clause he once lived with, it makes me physically ill.
Thank you so much for sharing all of this.

"What else you got? 'Who scheduled Colombia’s match during a Louis’ show?' It's now, right? What's the score? You don't know? You brought the sign asking who scheduled the game and you don't even know the score? It's 1x0, I just heard it's 1x0 to? Colombia, here you go! What are you trying to say? [fan screams the score] 1x0, so you are watching the game, nice!" - 03.07
