Hello lovers,

Before anything else, I just want to say thank you. The love you've shown me over the years has been incredible - I find the older I've become, the more I'm taking it all in, even more than I already was.

Being a part of ‘The Show’ album and tour really blew my mind. What you did for me on that run of shows was honestly something I wasn't expecting because when you are an artist, you don't EXPECT to be playing arenas and full amphitheaters every night. Hearing you sing the songs back to me, feeling that energy every night, I really don't have the words to explain my gratitude, and I hope we can do this all over again. You gave me the space, the confidence, and the belief to go away and create again. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for sticking with me. I genuinely can't believe this is my fourth solo album and that I still get to wake up and call this my life. I'm so excited for you to hear it, and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Making this record felt different in the best way. After the last chapter and everything that came with it, I was more driven than ever to get back into a creative space and see where it would take me. I had a head full of ideas and songs that had been building up, and once we finally got into the studio, it all started to click. There's a real honesty in these songs, and I think you'll hear that. This album feels like a true reflection of who I am at this point in my life, with all the sounds and influences that have made me the artist I've become.

There are so many people who helped bring this to life. John Ryan and Julian Bunetta are the first to thank. You guys have known me since I was 18 and the time we spent writing and producing together was something I'll always value. Amy Allen, Jamie Scott, Andrew Haas, lan Franzino, Steph Jones, Rocky Block, Joel Little and all the writers, engineers and teams that worked to get this album sounding like I wanted it ... thank you.

Beyond the studio, I'm lucky to have an incredible team around me. My management at Modest! - Richard, Harry, Justin, Marco, Sarah, Natalie and everyone there.

To my Capitol family — from the very beginning of this solo journey, you've backed me and my vision completely. Sam, Tom, Lillia, Stephen, Greg, Ambrosia, Kieran, KK, Becky, Jen, Orla, Melissa, Kim, Arshum, Joe, Aria, Lily, and every department that works tirelessly behind the scenes — thank you for caring about this music as much as I do. And thank you to all the UMG teams around the globe that help me push my music and vision to the fans in every market - your work is massively appreciated.

My teams at CAA — Brian, Will, Alli, Mike and of course Rob - thank you for bringing these songs to stages around the world and for believing in every tour we've dreamed up. To all the promoters who have believed in me since day 1 as a solo act (and in some cases much longer) - thank you. Live Nation & SJM you have been amazing and I thank you Warda and Simon for going the extra mile always.

Ben Chappell, I said it before and will say it again... you've transformed the way I see myself creatively. From visuals to artwork to the bigger picture, you've pushed me to think differently and I'm so grateful for that. I love all you put your hands and vision on. And thank you to Nick S for making all the vinyl and album packaging look so good time and time again.

I also get to share this dream with my road family - my tour manager Paul, my tour director Ant Carr, my MD Jake, my entire band and crew, new and old, and every single person who works tirelessly behind the curtain to make the shows what they are. The world saw during lockdown just how much these people do, and I'll never take that for granted.

My best half. Thank you for always being there for me. When I need someone to talk to, you are always there to lean on and you give great advice, I'm forever grateful. Can't wait to make more great memories with you.

And finally, to you — the fans all over the world. Thank you for your patience, your loyalty, and your love. 15 years in and you're still here, still showing up, still singing every word. That is the greatest gift I could ever ask for. I hope this album becomes yours in the way music is meant to - something you live with, grow with, and make memories to. I can't wait to get back out there, travel the world, and see your faces again.

Worried about what to say? Bring your personal worries about transphobia being signed into law, and trans friends being excluded from public spaces. You are a living person who deserves dignity. Remind your MP of that. You will also get guidance and brochures from Trans Solidarity Alliance that outlines our demands. This is mine from last year.

Got a refusal or no response from your MP?  Come anyway! You can request a same-day appointment with your MP through a process called greencarding. They will come and see you if they’re already in Parliament. Even if they don’t, they’re made acutely aware of your cause because you showed up in person. This is my greencard from last year.

Here is the EHRC Code of Practice in full. It's a tough read, but some highlights are:

Organisations can’t provide trans-inclusive, single-sex services, or they risk being sued for discrimination. e.g. domestic violence support for women including trans women, men’s rugby group including trans men (12.68).

Trans people will have nowhere safe to pee. If you’re a trans man, businesses can't allow you to pee in the men's, and you can also be ejected from women’s bathrooms if you’re perceived as a man. Vice versa for trans women. EHRC suggests a ‘third space’ bathroom, which is discriminatory and unworkable for most businesses. (13.130-133)

Sports organisations must exclude trans people from single-sex competitions (13.73).  A women’s only sports competition must exclude trans women because of their biological advantage or face potential lawsuits (13.74), but a trans man who has undergone testosterone treatment can also be excluded based on fairness rules (13.81).

Trans women are stripped of the legal definition of ‘lesbian’, and therefore no longer have legal protections if they’re discriminated against on the basis of sexual orientation. (2.50, 2.92).
