Ideally I'd make a post like "It is pride month! Yay! :D" ...But it is getting increasingly hard to exist as a trans person, let alone celebrate it.

We should still celebrate it. That celebration doesn't need to be loud. It doesn't need to be noticed by anyone except yourself.

They want us to feel shame at who we are. They want others to fear what we are. Pride in yourself is the antithesis of shame. So please, now more than ever, make sure you celebrate pride. Celebrate you.

Hello, my friends,

Thank you so much for all your support.

I have some good news I wanted to share with you.

I have made progress in my project and managed to create some wonderful pieces. However, I faced major setbacks because I needed to buy raw materials, and I didn’t have enough money. My campaign is moving very slowly.

At the same time, I am trying to support my family and become independent by starting my own project.

These are some of the results of my achievements this month, created amidst the tents and rubble. I will try to keep you updated always, but please help me as much as you can and talk about my work.

Here is a glimpse of some of the hardships I face, with rain and water leaking into the tent where my family and I live. But I always hold on to hope for life 🤍.

There’s not a ton I have to say about this strip.  I mean, there is a ton to say, but I’m not sure that it’d amount to more than me just venting and screaming into the void, which I feel like I’ve been doing a lot of and with increasing regularity.

To a degree, people aren’t wrong when they call me a “doomer.”

…but only to a degree.

In general, history skews towards progress.  We develop better medicine and technology, we become more accepting of others, etc.

But there’s an ebb and flow to progress and there are periods of history where regression occurs.  Unfortunately we’re currently experiencing a social/political regression, and with the defunding of education that’s been occurring over the last few decades, we’re about to start seeing the fallout of an educational regression, which will affect our medicine, tech, and much more.

Will things get better?  Yes, absolutely, 100% yes.

Will things get better in my lifetime?  That I’m less certain of. 

But I’m the type of person that wants to make the best of what I have.  As long as I’m alive, I’m dedicated to supporting progress; supporting what is right.  

Even when things are bleak, we need to keep fighting.  So keep being vocal, keep supporting causes you care about, keep your own spirits up so you can inspire the people around you. 

Keep educating and influencing the world so that we can be accepted.
