ENDLESS EUPHORIA

Don’t ask yourself why someone’s hurting you. Ask yourself why you’re letting them hurt you.

People will hurt and you will hurt them, too. And I think, that’s life; finding the ones who are worth the pain.

Wait for someone who says, “Holy crap, how did I get so lucky?” when you walk in the door, absolutely exhausted from work at 6pm after being married for 30 years. Wait for that, it’s more than worth it.

Sometimes when I look at you, and you’re looking back at me, I can see something. This hint of something more, something you’re feeling but can’t say. When our eyes meet, it’s like we’re instantly connected. And I know no one catches it but me and you, but I like it that way. It’s like our own little secret, a place we go to when everything around us is crazy and we just need some semblance of normal. God, your eyes are gorgeous. There are times when I want nothing more than to look you in the eyes, cause it’s when we’re looking at each other in silence that we end up saying the most.

Like the ocean finds the shore, I’ll always find you.

I wish that I could make him realize that he’s worthy of being loved. That he could be someone’s world. That somebody thinks of him every single night before she goes to bed and every single morning when she wakes up. That someone nearly dies with yearning thinking of his arms around her. That somebody loves him more than anything because he’s fantastic.

I can’t tell you exactly what I’m looking for, but I’ll know it when it happens. I want to be breathless and weak, crumpled by the entrance of another person inside my soul.
