Happy Father's Day!

An updated digital version of my first Birthday Twins drawing. I originally intended for that one to be digital, but I didn’t have the time. 🤷🏾‍♀️ So, another year, provided another chance. On a similar note, maybe I’ll have something ready on the date of next year. 😶

First, I’m in love with baby Donald’s 90s grunge look. He wears an open dark blue flannel shirt just like @tcsauaskblog always draws teen Donald in her teen cousins au, so that kinda blew my mind. But he also plays bass guitar and has swoopy hair. In some frames, you can really see how swoopy it is. In this particular frame though, he just looks A LOT like Louie.

Now about Dewey’s face. 

We know from the plot synopsis that Dewey will be looking for his mom in the past and teaming up with young Donald to do so.  In this promo, we see them getting caught in a trap. What if mischievous little Della is the one who set the trap? (Or what if she didn’t, but she’s the one who finds them and cuts them down?)

And what if this moment is the first time Dewey sees his mom?
