Huey and Dewey weren't alone when they initially fell into the labyrinth.

For the first week or so, they had Scrooge.

Huey suffered the worst from the fall, resulting in a concussion that never truly had a chance to heal. He becomes easily confused, his balance is unsteady, and every few hours he must pause to rest whether he wants to or not. The longer they are trapped, the more challenging it becomes to distinguish what is real from what his fatigued mind is conjuring.

Dewey refuses to allow silence to settle in.

He talks incessantly—telling stories, cracking jokes, devising increasingly absurd theories about where the rest of the family might have ended up. "Louie's probably at the treasure vault by now," he'd say with a grin. "Webby's likely halfway to becoming queen of the labyrinth."

Scrooge always played along.

The stories were intended to keep Huey alert after his head injury, but they also helped all three of them maintain hope that somewhere out there, the rest of the family was still striving to return home.

Everything shifted when one of the labyrinth's beasts located them.

Scrooge drew it away before either boy could protest, leaving Huey and Dewey alone..

They haven't seen him since.

Since that moment, Dewey hasn't allowed Huey out of his sight. Whenever Huey lingers behind or stops to catch his breath, anxiety sets in. First Scrooge vanished. He can't lose Huey too.

Huey carries his own burden of guilt. He can't shake the thought that if he hadn't been injured, perhaps Scrooge wouldn't have had to sacrifice himself for their chance at escape. Between the concussion, fatigue, and constant pressure, his own thoughts have become nearly as challenging to navigate as the labyrinth itself.

Nevertheless, neither of them is ready to give up.

Louie got luckier than most.

If you can call this lucky..

He only spent about three days alone.

He lost Della during the initial fall into the labyrinth, their hands slipping apart in the chaos. Somehow, he escaped with nothing worse than a badly twisted ankle, clinging to the hope that she'd landed somewhere nearby.

For those first few days, he wandered the endless halls calling out for everyone—Huey, Dewey, Webby, Scrooge—but mostly his mom. Every unanswered shout twisted the guilt a little tighter. If he'd just held on a little longer... maybe they wouldn't have been separated. He had no way of knowing whether Della was hurt, alive, or even still searching for him.

Then Webby found him. They've been together ever since.

They aren't sure how long it’s been. They’re only focused on the endless stone corridors, dead ends, scavenged meals, and searching for the rest of their family. Once, they were sure they heard Della screaming somewhere in the maze. They chased the sound until they couldn't run anymore... and never found her.

Louie has no trouble falling asleep. Staying asleep is the hard part. Every time he closes his eyes, he's dragged right back to the moment he lost Della—the panic, the helplessness, the feeling of her hand slipping from his. He wakes with a jolt more often than not, never feeling like he's actually rested.

Webby isn't sleeping at all. Not because she's afraid of the labyrinth, but because someone has to keep watch. If Louie finally manages to get a few hours of sleep, she's determined to make sure nothing interrupts it. Though, sometimes she has to force him to keep going..

She's become fiercely protective of him, always keeping herself between Louie and whatever danger the labyrinth throws at them. She won't let him put too much weight on his injured ankle, keeps watch while he sleeps, and never lets him out of her sight for long.

Right now, Louie is all she has left. Until they find the others, she's determined to make sure she doesn't lose him too.

They just have to keep moving, that's all. Just keep moving..

when tenten believed she had the opportunity to save everyone, she chose to give up her goal because she enjoyed the praise she received in the tsukuyomi world. AND SHE KNOWS SHE'S WRONG FOR IT!!!!!

when she was told to get a weapons order from iō, she found his secret stash and tried to STEAL HIS STUFF!!

when chishima offered the team something extra to compensate for the low payment, neji and tenten thought he was offering money (it was a snack) BUT TENTEN STILL WANTED MONEY FROM HIS BROKE ASS !!!

(neji has basic manners and decency)

I also think it is part of what makes her a great contrast to Lee. Like I love my Boi but this idiot jumped in to fight 3 enemies for a girl he met once and she was not even nice to him, (no hate on Sakura, Lee came on WAY too strong).

Lee can be so selfless that he lacks self preservation so Tenten being able to balance that makes their relationship so fun to watch.

So they can literally go from

Tenten: Lee no!

Lee: Lee yes

To

Lee: Tenten no

Tenten: Tenten yes

But for opposite reasons. Plus in a team like Gai's you have to be a little selfish or you will end up being lost in the shuffle, she needs to be able to put her foot down and say "this not working for me so [inset request] now"

Like slow down for me, change the plan or we need to leave.

but then their example of "good paneling" was a page from JJK which was only 3 HUGE drawings + 2 speech bubbles with short sentences. Phrases even.

Kids don't understand the difference between romantic & platonic love. She's literally only 7 years old! She's a BABY!

When a child that young says they want to "marry you", it just means they really like you & want to be friends with you & hang out with you forever. They don't know that marriage is more than best friendism.

So Brook playing along & "rejecting" her is just about humoring a child. Her father getting "jealous" is about his daughter preferring the company of another adult rather than himself. HE wants to be her best friend.

When he's literally just being himself.

They want to actively erase half of Sanji's personality. Strip him down to a boring one dimensional character.

This is why they LOVE opla Sanji. He's everything they've diluted Sanji into being within their own minds.

I mean that in the literary sense.

Like how Odyssey's are romantic, how tales of adventure are romantic and of course how PIRATE STORIES have been historically written as romantic.

There are countless songs and tropes from just about every culture about how people chose the sea as their one and only love. And the amount of influences and references Oda makes to these old stories and time period means he deeply understands this.

obvious ones like:

-Peg leg (Zeff)

-a woman waiting at port (Kiya)

-a man choosing the sea over his home (Yassop)

and more subtle/lesser known ones like:

-slaves becoming privates (the sun pirates)

-the democracy of different pirate crews (i.e Big mom vs say white breads, one is run like a dictatorship the other a family structure

-how a lot of pirate either started as or became rebels/revolutionaries in their home countries

-how Venice did have some of the best ships builders in the world (ref for W7)

-how women were more likely to be navigators (inspo for Nami)
