How to drive a dude crazy.

Characters from Mae Hong Son: a little white dog, and an American transplant who claimed he "owns this town". Demonstrated his authority by running around grabbing bits of food from street vendors and shoving them in his mouth.

"Impressionistic" river sunset drawing (i.e. drawn and colored very hastily before the light changed)

Christmas memory #2: Every year my dad would get me some variation on this basic children's art set. It was so predictable that it became a running joke, but still, all the paints would be muddy and the markers dry and the crayons broken by the time the following Christmas came around.
