Husband and I spent a lovely sunset in this spot overlooking the La Sal Mountains just as autumn was creeping in. I got plenty of photos of the mountains themselves, of course, but also loved the contrast with the often-overlooked desert scrub.

In a moment of perfect timing, a sunset, storm, and rainbow converged while we were up at Canyonlands National Park. QUESTION: Do you like stormy weather? I feel like we never get enough of it here in the desert.

Throwback to a sunset hike where we saw yucca blooms beginning to fade, revealing the fruit developing inside. QUESTION: What is your favorite type of fruit?

This one was taken down an unmarked dirt road in the Utah desert, just off I-70, during a golden hour so distractingly beautiful I immediately had to find an exit so I could photograph it.
