Alice's mom was actually a division, most likely training herself to the point of witch able to see when her family curse would end, and ends up seeing Alice conquer the curse and die on the Witch's Road, leading to Lorna Wu creating her version on the Ballad and telling Alic ethat the Witch's Road would save her.

It is also why she ends the song with "I'll see you at the end."

Since, in the end, Alice dies , but gets to now see her mom in the after life.

I don't see anyone talking about the look Jinn gives when Cinder asks her question.

She doesn't want to answer Cinder's question. She doesn't want to give anything away about team Rwby. But she doesn't have any choice. It's her job to answer any question asked her.

And the worst part for her is the fact it's her last question. Meaning she goes into a 500 year sleep. Meaning she can't even apologize to rwby and Co. for helping the bad guys.
