1: Viiru and Pesonen at Pride

2: One morning Viiru and Pesonen came across an article about Pride while reading the paper. "I've heard of that!" yelled Viiru.

3: "People dress up in colourful clothes and have fun there," said Viiru. "Should we take a trip there?" asked Pesonen. The city's hustle and bustle felt as exciting as it did daunting. Viiru thought the idea sounded magnificently fun. [Newspaper: Findus-pea]

4: "But then we need to make you some colourful clothes," Pesonen told Viiru.

5: Right away, Viiru rushed to fetch cloth while Pesonen took out the sewing machine.

6: Pesonen sewed pantaloons each more colourful than the last under Viiru's watchful eye.

7: Viiru tried on the pantaloons and hats, all of them definitely worth a trip to the city! But Viiru thought the most fitting for Pride was...

8: The most colourful and stripey outfit!

9: Even Pesonen got a colourful and lively ribbon around his hat.

10: The journey towards the big city was easy atop Pesonen's bike.

11: "Look, Viiru!" pointed Pesonen. "The Pride is probably over there."

12: There were all kinds of people and things to see at Pride. The size of the crowd was many times that of home! "Pesonen, look!" gushed Viiru and pointed towards the stall.

13: [Sign: Pride King] The stall vendor had all sorts of things for sale. "There's a paw on it!" shouted Viiru.

14: "Surely a little cat needs their own flag," smiled the vendor and passed Viiru a flag to wave.

15: "There's another one available for the mister here as well," said the vendor and winked at Pesonen.

16: Deeper in the park area was even a stage, where a show was in full swing.

17: Even Pesonen's inventor imagination didn't expect such a performer!

18: Not used to such hullabaloo and seas of people, Viiru and Pesonen were tired before long, even though they'd had fun as well.

19: At the end of the day they pedaled back home.

20: "Just where were you clucking about?" probed Rilla. "All colourful like that!"

21: "We were at Pride! Folk dressed merrily, were together and there even were performers!" explained Viiru.

22: "Couldn't we hold the farm's very own Pride?" suggested Pesonen.

23: And so Viiru, Pesonen, Rilla, and the other chickens held the homestead's own Pride celebration. "Next year we'll invite Kosonen too," thought Pesonen.
