It just shows that prayers can work, especially when you are at the end of your rope and it seems no one gives a damn.

 Both of them taught at the University of Paris around the same time, and while Aquinas wrote great theological works but Bonaventure wrote great works of spirituality. There is a legend stating they were both invited by one of the Popes of their day to write the Preface to a Mass. In time, Aquinas presented his Preface first. Bonaventure never presented his because once he heard the Preface that Aquinas wrote, he tore the one he had composed. for he and the Pope were weeping at the beauty of Aquinas’ work.

First off, I want to say that I watch television shows and movies strictly for entertainment. I don’t like doing deep dives into the into the hidden messages and thinly veiled political dog whistling, real or imagined

Do I like them, Do I not like them? This isa completely subjective. What the moral implications could be is what I will attempt to discover and share what I find.

The plot of The Lord of the Rings of Power boils down to this: males are evil, unwise, brutal. Women are strong, bold & courageous . However, the clearest thread in common throughout this meandering tale is a lesson obsessive compunction, an unquenchable thirst for vengeance and the destruction that it brings,

Galadriel seeks vengeance against Sauron for her brothers’ death at the Battle of Mount Doom, Sauron seeks vengeance against men and elves for his defeat at there hands at that same battle, and how it inspired the forging of the 1st 3 rings of the elf Lords.

This is a three part seres encompassing the forging of all twenty rings 3 elven. 7 dwarfish, 9 human and, of course the “One Ring to rule them all”.

Let’s just hope the stories tie up nicely and this somewhat disjointed season will make sense.
