We sent them out to the planets,

To worlds beyond our own,

Does it ever just… hit you…

That at any point in time you can suddenly become disabled.

Car accident.

Cancer.

Covid.

Fuck. A lot of people were randomly rendered disabled because of COVID (some of them anti-vaxx, some of them got sick before we were aware COVID was in the states).

The way we treat disabilities in America should be a clear and active threat on everyone’s way of life, because all it takes is one bad day. One unfortunate event. And you’ll be disabled too.
