here is a corner of a room that has a penis and balls
i have truly posted some things online
to the window to the walls to the corner dick and balls
If staff reformed the ban system to stop banning trans women and used the resulting good will to re-introduce pornography, this site would become a juggernaut. It would swallow Twitter whole.
Magnificent. Photo from my collection, no date/info.
It is 2016
I am posting on tumblr about the Welcome to Night Vale live show I went to last week, listening to a new season of Alice Isn't dead, and I'm looking forward to the next Witcher 3 DLC.

i keep seeing people who are surprised that there is a new season of Alice Isn't Dead, and other than these occasional notes of surprise i see very little mention of it at all.
the new season has been out since mid-April and we are already halfway through it. i know the WTNV team has been posting about it on their social channels for months leading up to it. i dont think we are doing anything differently, promotion-wise, than we did with the first three seasons which seemed to find their audience much more quickly.
personally i find it rather frustating given the amount of work we put into this show, but im not really sure what to do about it. i know part of it is down to the fact that audiofiction is a far more competitive field than it used to be, and there's also so much noise and chaos in the world these days that its hard to find anything, and so many terrible problems that fiction feels less important.
these are obviously not all issues that i or anyone else on the team can solve but i am still curious if anyone has thoughts about why it seems to much harder to get the word out now

This was the funniest hour of my life
At the end of the panel we gave them a round of applause for being so brave in trying to write straights and cisgenders
Especially Jasika, who got very emotional about her childhood with straight parents
types of comments on this post:
-straight people saying :/ love is love :/ gay or straight why does it matter ://///
-gay people saying wait no really iâve never written a non-lesbian pls help
-people pointing out that even straight people donât know how to write straight people without unnecessary romance
the truly impressive part of this panel was how for an hour, a FULL hour, they talked about writing straight characters like the st8s talk about writing queer characters and they did. not. break. It was the most amazing piece of improv comedy iâve ever seen.Â

prev link is dead, a good soul uploaded the recording to the internet archive
Little guy I made at the beginning of the year and finally glazed
Like a month ago I messaged a craft group about accessibility for wheelchairs and the answer I got was âthereâs a lot of stairs but we have cute boys who can carry youâ. And itâsâŚnot good. As a wheelchair bound person I largely depend on people when I want to go out and do *anything* so Iâm used to it, I laugh it off, make an annoyed post about it and off I go. But I wanna just say a thing real quick.
Even if I wasnât gay, wasnât a survivor scared of men, getting help as a disabled person is justâŚNot a pleasant thing to us! Imagine for a sec how youâd feel being carried up a flight of stairs. Youâre a grown person. Youâre being touched in an awkward way. Youâd rather do it yourself. Youâre So Uncomfortable. Itâs not where I look for the beginning of a romantic relationship. So likeâŚcould abled people stop doing this thing where they think helping us in a condescending and infantilizing way is cute? Cause Iâm real tired. Just get me a ramp or lift and Iâm cool. I donât need a dating service when Iâm just trying to go about my day
If youâre abled please reblog it cause likeâŚthe more ppl knows the better
Probably preaching to the choir here, but while being carried is 100% embarrassing and infantalizing and not anywhere cloae to a real replacement for actual accessibility features, itâs also dangerous. A lot of people in wheelchairs, especially the non-ambulatory users, have conditions that could lead to injury or death if carried by someone who isnât a firefighter, and even a firefighter would run the risk of hurting them.
So not only are you humiliating a disabled person by refusing to provide accessible spaces, youâre also suggesting that they put themselves at the mercy of someone who does not understand their condition and needs and likely who also hasnât had any training in helping disabled people this way.
Thereâs a reason EMTs transport people on stretchers, and these are people trained to transport injured and disabled people safely. Youâre way less likely to hurt someone if you carry them on a stretcher over your arms. Especially if, again, youâve never been trained to move people on your own.
its so awkward when people ask me why i dropped out and i have to be like "inadequate disability support" bc no one wants to hear this. they're always like i thought they had to provide that though isn't it the law? girl you might want to sit down i have some bad news about the litigation-based enforcement of the americans with disabilities act
then if i do say that theyre like, couldnt you sue? well theoretically maybe but not without spending more money than i have and putting myself through absolute hell. so no. no i can't.
