Since its disability pride month, let's talk about how wild it is that the ADA isn't considered a major civil rights legislation by most people when it is genuinely one of the most important and meaningful laws of the 20th century alongside things like the Clean Air and Water acts, Pure Food and Drug act, and the Civil Rights act of 1964

It would be great if someone could remind the MTA of this, because between the lack of elevators, lack of bathrooms, and pulling out benches for the purposes of hostile architecture, there is some real deliberate forgetfulness at work. 

That’s good news, but man talk about “with all deliberate speed.”

it’s been said before and it will be said again but i’m begging you all nicely to restrain yourselves from being so casually aggressive and rude and obnoxious in the tags & reblogs of a complete stranger’s posts. no one wants to know that you hate [tv show that op giffed]. no one wants to know that you hate [character that op drew]. no one wants to hear you being ugly and negative for no reason. say what you want to say in your own post. don’t hit the reblog button. blacklist relevant tags. unfollow or block relevant accounts. log out. shut down. get help.

Is it just me or you don’t really realise how drunk you are until you are in a bathroom alone???

thanks to tumblr literally every time i go to the bathroom when i’m drunk i think about this post and sit there laughing to myself trying not to fall off the toilet

thinking about all the “small” art that’s ever existed. songs that were only ever sung in one village. stories written by children that got lost in the shuffle. personal paintings that didn’t survive the test of time. how they affected the lives of just a few, but still existed, still mattered to someone.

this is not a sad post!!!! this is a celebration!!!!! art is part of the human condition!!!!!!! we were born to create and share!!!!!!!!!!!
