why do our phones need to be INVOLVED IN EVERYTHING? every new innovation needs to include some weird usage of my phone, and i do not want it to. this has been spurred by the new Singer sewing machine btw, I get that its for embroidery primarily, but genuinely why can't it just have a screen built in, why do I need to plug my phone into it and get an app for it, its a sewing machine. like what happens when i don't have wifi and I want to use the machine, its just a hunk of plastic now? the capabilities of the actual machine look cool, but why do I need extra shit for it to do its job. really i shouldn't be complaining that much, bc its not even properly out yet, but I am so sick of needing to get an app for everything

I know Rorschach wouldn’t watch movies because it’s a hobby and how dare anyone have a hobby but I wonder what he would’ve liked. Separate from what he liked, Has he ever seen Snow White? Dumbo? Bambi?

completely unrelated but i think there was an au floating around there on livejournal where Rorschach wasn't allowed to die and was instead turned into a cat. Wouldn't it be fun if Daniel found a severely traumatized cat on his doorstep and he has to pet-proof his house. It was named Beans, of course.

Funny how Rorschach's hair color would be not too far off from Bubastis's fur color. Funny how rorschach inkblots, when centered on the spine of a quadruped, could closely resemble tiger stripes. Funny how Veidt's infamous for genetically engineering pets. Whose to say the lynx-tiger hybrid wasn't also freakishly intelligent? Whose to say Bubastis's mind didn't expand in an indeterminable amount of dimensions while de-atomized? why would anyone doubt Veidt's claim that his cat was just a bit weirder, now? Not like it can talk.

one of my watchman opinions is that the comedian internally identidfies as like.

one of these kinds of guys, but is unfortunetley job-obligated to be vaugley republican, so just kind of goes with whatever. he doesnt actually have any feelings about the country he lives in, its just a bizzare, stagnent machine that effects other people who have to do their own laundry. hes never really ajusted to being an adult with actual agency. in his brain the only thing thats changed since he was sixteen is that people are on his ass less about brutality and more girls wanna fuck him. theres an emptiness inside of him, but hes one of those guys who just doesnt notice it.
