Title: From Another Point of View Author: Pixiemage Fandom: Night at the Museum Rating: General Audiences Relationships: Billy (OC)/Fabian (OC) Characters: Original Male Character(s), Billy (Night at the Museum OC), Fabian (Night at the Museum OC), Marius (Night at the Museum OC) Word Count: 16,291 Tags: Background Jedediah/Octavius Description: We all know what happened the night the old night guards attempted to steal the Tablet of Ahkmenrah. We know how Larry freed Ahk from his tomb, how Teddy saved Sacagawea...how a common enemy and a common goal finally brought a fifty-year-long rivalry between Rome and the West to an unexpected end. This? This is another story. The same night, the same museum...but from a different point of view. Jedediah and Octavius weren't the only miniatures who made amends that evening. While their people were at war around them, a young archer and a gunslinger were pulled into an unforeseen series of events that led to something neither had been expecting: friendship. Or maybe even something more... Notes: For anyone who isn't familiar with my other NatM stories, Billy and Fabian have appeared in my work before! They initially started as a pair of background characters to flesh out the scene, but after writing them into "Highfalutin Highjinks" I got a little more curious about their backstory. At some point, I wrote this 40-page monster of a First Meeting fic, but never shared it. So! In celebration of September 21st, I'm posting this for people to read if they want to. Enjoy!
