I've been watching some Ted talks and stuff about people with bipolar disorder, and they all kind of have the same tone and message about it: 'this is a legit illness and life is hard and I'm human so treat me like one', which is all legit and I concur with those sentiments, but I wonder, how taboo would it be to have a lighter tone? Throw some dark humor in there. But not necessarily bring out the darkness of it right away. I want people to experience those highs and lows with me, not sit there listening to me somehow poetically describe it and hope they get it. I started to read Kay Redfield-Jamison's "An unquiet mind", an autobiography in which she, as a doctor, talks about her life and living with BP, when she did and didn't recognize it. I like this the best of what I've seen so far, because she is so unapologenic about it. I also think that she's going to be my primary inspiration for future projects, but we'll see.

The labels for these need to look prime.. Some kind of slightly desperate hope that it'll distract peole from thinking 'why are they using Home Depot buckets'
