okay i ended up snapping a quick pic of my reading nook... wanted to show it off hahah, not included in the picture: the human sized stuffed bear that sometimes sits with me. included in the picture: my kalimba, my spinny papasan chair, three jane austen books, hermione’s wand, a fake succulent (i killed my real ones, i’m sorry), a 3D printed fox with a hat and glasses, a letter board with a jane austen quote, and a painting done by yours truly! also other stuff i’m too lazy to describe :D

here’s a proper photo of my bookshelf! please excuse the random stuffed animals, pinecones and trophy, i haven’t gotten around to decorating it the way i’d like. also, there are six other little box thingies (or 2 rows, whichever way you think of it) that aren’t included in the photo. the reasoning for that is that they’re filled with junk because i don’t have enough books to fill them up yet... slowly making progress though. ps: three of my favourite books are not included in this photo because they currently reside on the floating shelf in my reading nook (which i might post a pic of?)

okay ignore the random text on there, it was from my instagram story, but here’s my current bookshelf!! i reorganized it not too long ago because it was my birthday in late september and i got 14 books for it hahah i still haven’t read them all yet! the top two row thingies are a lot of my old childhood books that i don’t really read but i like to fill up space, ya know? current book-count on my bookshelf is: 121 (i think)

MORE BOOOKSS!! i finished reading crescent city and the acotar series (both by sjm) so i wanted some more books and i decided to get the cruel prince trilogy (only the main three books tho) by holly black! time to read more!! (also they’re not in order in this pic... oops)

me: welp, guess i gotta wait till 11:00 now

me today: i finally updated my laptop. i’m only 2-3 years late, it’s fine

currently reading house of earth and blood aaand i’m on page 292 and i’ve spent my whole evening reading on my window sill seat and i watched the sunset while i was reading and it was so calming. for the past year or so, i’ve been superrr unmotivated to read and i only picked up one book (eleanor and park) since... probably early 2019 and it’s just so nice getting back into reading ahhhh!!! anyways, gonna go back to reading now <—me to literally no one lol
