A Kirsh portrait done in B1C ballpoint pen, and Kirsh with Morrow, done in dip pen and ink.

Ever since I updated the scanner driver back in 2023, despite adjustments & scanning at different resolutions---The drawings still show up a little rough, with a slight blur. Before 2024, the scanner picked up more texture of ink and paper, was more crisp and sharp.

Maybe I need a new scanner (it's from 2016). Can't afford one though. Not when I need to get F3liw@y refills for my, now, 2 cats. We got a new kitty (2 years old), and I'm out of F3liw@y to help the 2 cats adjust to each other instead of facing off in hisses and growls.

Sketched these out earlier this month, finally got back to adding a little bit of color. Characters from Alien: Earth. Kumi Morrow carrying/kidnapping a beaten up Kirsh. (Oh sh*t, I forgot to add Morrow's messed up eye) I kind of ship these two. Make luv, not war! And brat Boy Kavalier with his synth (pseudo Dad?) Atom Eins, and Kirsh. I was wondering if something like this ever occurred when Boy K was younger....

My fat baby Jasper! ♥ Was curious about acrylic pens, so got a few and gave them a try. (My scanner messes up some of the true colors--it hates pink). I liked using them. It's nice to use them to do quick works, like this one, without having to break out all the paint bottles, water, and brushes. Would be nice to get more pens in ranges of colors with brighter pigments, but I need to budget to afford those pricey F3liw@y refills for Jasper (he bites less since plugging those in a few months ago).

This is a little over postcard size.
