Oh I'm so sorry lovie, I know all about the drama that goes on there. One of the reasons I could never get into that show that much was because of the fandom drama.
It is a fab show, and the chemistry between characters is really chemistry-ing in it. But yes, all the nonsense created by fans is taking the fun out of interacting in the fan spaces. Like i don't even know what happened, but for some reason they hate the irl partners of the male actors in it? Like it makes zero sense how they even reached this level of nuttery but they somehow have.
You should watch the series, it is quite good. Just don't let the lunatics make you apprehensive about it. It is a solid watch.

I did watch it, i forgot it was coming out on the 13th with C's visit to Italy and everything and then when I was on instagram I saw everyone talking about it. So then I binged the entire thing in one night π

I adored seeing them on the screen, I have loved these books for years and always go back for rereads and just seeing them come to life was everything to me.
And I agree I personally am always very skeptical when it comes to adaptations and I always end up having issues with them. God knows the times i spent whining about this one too initially but when I watched it, I completely enjoyed everything about it.
