The bedding i sat down for his character i thought would be 'he starts to care just honestly giving a fuck about people'. No it was the revealing of how horrible a person he was/is. I cried during the Karrie scenes. Because it was not simply he nutured her in his mind. (By the way that fucking insane thing to do.) He disregarded her so much, I couldn't help but believe he hated her and then felt sympathy only after he got her hurt. Dude could barely mustered up words for a girl that prior the awkward ass kissing scene. Was just a normal girl who he hung out with voluntarily.

He only says sorry to Alina because someone has to spell it out to him that he raped a girl. An that she was only being nice to him because of the truama of the last guy. The MC NEVER took anyone into account. And do I think it's the bells fault? No. I think the bells haunt those who Amy views is like her husband. Because even the story of Amy we have no idea if it's true and by the context that we are giving there's a good chance that something was Rewritten/written over by the passage of time. You can clearly over come the bells by just MOVING ON. An our MC refused too he is cursed but its not by Amy he is cursed by her husband obession. An she has taken the role as punisher for those who are obessed.
